THIS PLANT IS STRICTLY ON AN ORGANIC ONLY DIET. LETS SEE HOW IT GOES. She had some trouble germinating. But with a little bit of help. She seems to be doing great.

She looks like she is doing OK. She has about 7 nodes now. Hoping to see some branches by week 4. Can anyone help with when the right time is to top her.

she is smaller than i expected for week 5. No signs of flowering. But im noticing that she is starting to grow quite fast. her branches are stretching and i see lots of new nodes on them. she is starting to give off a faint smell. otgerwise she looks extremely healthy. and the main stem and 2 main branches are starting to get very thick.

i am starting to see some serious growth acceleration. i left 3 main branches. with a combination of LST and HST. some pistils have started to appear and im super happy about that. lots of new nodes. and the stems and main branches are really starting to thicken up. the smell is starting to be more noticable. exciting times!!

Finally into the first week of flowering. The plant went from just a few pistils popping up on the 3 main branches. and a few days later bud sites everywhere! the nodes have turned into branches and have also begun to flower. she also has a very distinct smell now when i rub the stem. I have noticed that during the first few weeks of flowering the leaves where wider and looked more indica. But since she began to flower her new leaves are longer and skinnier much like sativa plants. i just thought that was very interesting. Cant wait to see how she looks in a few weeks.

Its now 7 days since i first noticed a few pistils pop out the budlets have really gained mass in just a few days. And this plant just keeps suprising me especially since im growing it all natural. no bottled nutrients or anything that could be bought in a shop. only forest humus and home compost. with compost tea. I use cured rabbit manure as well.

All i can say is the smell is really coming out now. and the buds are just exploding everywhere. from the closeups you can see the trichomes all over the leaves?, calyxs and pistils. This is going to be one extremely resinuous plant! So far there are no signs of disease or deficiencies. no leaf burns. so far so good.

the plant looks healthy.the smell is stronger now. she is a short but bushy plant just as G13 Labs said. And definitely full of resin. some beautiful colas. i had to trim off some leaves to allow sunlight to reach more leaves.

Week 13. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!

This Blue OG was grown using only organic methods. Nothing was used other than what is found in nature. She is a real nice smoke. Smooth on the throat like breathing in cool air. This Strain definitely packs a punch and is well balanced for anytime whether its night or day. The effects creep in slowly, this one hit me sometime after the joint was already done it was like it hit me all at once.. Even though she leans more on the indica side and is well suited for when you get home after work to relax your mind... She is very cerebral, racy, and packs a lot of energy and i will definitely be taking Blue OG for hikes. At the same time she gives you some nice body relaxation but not enough to leave you couch locked. It's the perfect balance. The smell and taste are quite unique, The bud smells more citrus than berry but there are definitely hints of berry and is very skunky as well. This seed was a freebie from G13 Labs, I wish i had more seeds. But i will keep this on my list for future grows. G13 Labs did it right!

This strain was easy to grow, it was not fussy about the soil or grow conditions. she was grown using natural and organic methods and nothing you can buy from a store was used. home made compost, lime to control the p.h, and natural sources of nitrogen, potassium and phosphorous. I had some issues with humidity. This plant was being grown on a tropical Island and humidity is high. I lost a part of one of the main colas to bud rot (about a gram) Which was nothing. I delt with it fast enough that it wasnt a problem. Other ise she responds well to training. I will definitely grow the Blue OG again. This time i will Veg it for a longer period and allow it to grow bigger.

It would seem like this Blue OG Pheno leans more towards the Sativa side.
