Starting my second batch. This will consist of three strains (Sweet nurse Auto CBD - Sweet seeds, Purple punch Auto - 42FastBuds, and Banana Kush Auto - Seedsman) and will be grown both indoors and outdoors. The result - six diaries (hopefully 😀). This one is for the indoor grow of Purple Punch Auto strain from 42FastBuds. The packaging contained 3 seeds and I will divide that to one plant indoors and two plants outdoors. Germination procedure is the same as with my first batch - paper towel method - i.e. water mixed with liquid seaweed. Genetically it is a mix of: Purple Punch (Larry OG x Grand Daddy Purple) x Unknown ruderalis The strain is THC rich which can reach 24% (CBD less than 1%). It is Indica dominant strain (85% Indica, 15% Sativa) which should be very tall (it is supposed to reach 150cm) but compact with thick and tall main cola and some side branches with smaller buds. 100% success rate yay 😊 Update: The seeds took a day to crack their shells and today I transferred them to a pot (1l) for the seedling stage. The soil mixture was as I stated above and they will get their nuts from the RQS Easy Bloom tablets. I added a little bit of bat guano to the mixture and some root powder. I love it when the seeds crack 😍. Will update when things evolve further.

Week 1 So seven days since putting the seed on a paper towel. In the meantime she managed to crack her shell after which I transferred her into soil. Although she is peeking out of the soil she in all reality didn't come out yet. Her shell is still on, and she is still very much in the soil. You might think there is nothing there (on the pic) but it is, you just can't see her 😂 I hope she will come out or else 😡 I am watering her every second day not waiting for the soil to dry too much. She is in a small compartment, designed for seedling stage, with two FL baton lights each using 25W, and a heater that keeps the temperature at 25C. I don't have the timer installed yet so I can't put them to sleep at night but since it worked the first time I will not change that yet. I am using rain water. Update: day 5 of week 1 The girl finally managed to stretch herself a bit and became visible on the pics. Hopefully she will become one vigorous one because of her struggling at the beginning 😊

Week 2 of vegging stage - 16 days since placed on the towel This girl is tiny. She is only 3cm high and the reason why is because she didn't come out of soil for a good week (well, at least not properly), and then she kept her hat on for another few days (eventually I took it off manually, she seemed to struggle with it). But now, I expect her to catch-up with her big sisters. They were born on the same day after all 😀 Regardless, I am feeding her with the same water-nuts mix (Miracle-Gro Water Soluble All Purpose Plant Food; 24-8-16). I hope it helps her develop. Otherwise, there isn't much going on in this first few weeks, boring 😛, but on the other hand, the only excitement would be if something bad was happening so in this case, boring is good 🙌. Something like with their SN Out friends who are staying in the same room and because of them their ambient temperature went down (see their diary for details). Because I lost (well, I didn't actually loose them but they just didn't crack) Banana Kush I decided to quickly include another few seeds and picked up Hindu Kush (Sensi Seeds) Auto Fem and moving the problematic girls to another room will free up some space for the HKs. But that will be of course in another diary. I will update when something new happens, in the meantime, happy 1st of May holidays all you hard workers

Week 3 of flowering I moved the my only Purple Punch girls into her final 11l pots. In one day she didn't grow but in general she seems nice with healthy green colour and she is developing her fourth set of leaves. I fimmed her and hopefully she develops some nice stems. As with the other girls I grow at the moment I moved her to the growth room where the other girls reside and is therefore having the same conditions as they are (45% RH, temperature of 22C, and 18/6 light cycle). I will probably increase their light schedule to 20/4 when the old girls get out of the way. Similarly to the Indoors SNs, I watered the outside of her pot so as to make them spread their roots prior to digging them down (thanks @Ganjagrandaddy) She has 85% Indica in her genes and 15% sativa, so she will most likely follow the Indica lineage in her growth pattern. As with the SNs I will have to spread her lower branches wide but in general I should have enough space in my room for the girls. If need arises during summer time, and we get very wet summer, I will have to keep all of my girls in, regardless of my intention to move half of them out. Currently I have five older girls in which hopefully will finish in the next month and then I have six of my girls re-potted and staying in the grown-up room, and then additionally another six in the veg room. Of those, one is very weak and I am not sure will make it but the rest are growing and will eventually have to move out and into the other room. So if all of them are more Indica like that will give me space for 11 (or 12) of them to be in (theoretically).

In week 4 - my Indoor PP is going great. She has lovely darkish green colour but she hasn't grown in the past week and still standing at 5cm. She lives with her outdoor sisters and other girls in the same room as are the older ones and thus has 18hours of light a day which will increase that to 20h/day when the big ones move out. I haven't watered her for a week and she still has some left in the soil. I am only using rain water and I am not adding any nutrients at the moment. Hopefully, she will recover from the cutting and start growing. Until next time (or an update), stay well my friends.
