Used lukewarm water to fill the jar, added the seed and placed in the kitchen cabinet (dark space) for 24h. After checking, the seed had sunk to the bottom and we transferred her onto damp paper towels, and placed this between 2 plates in the livingroom cabinet. After another 36h she was ready to be planted in the soil.

We planted her in a 5l pot with DCM seedling soil prepared mix with added perlite and placed about 3cm of hydro grains on the bottom of the pot. She was covered with a plastic water bottle cut in half, and we let it there for about 22h to 23h per day and removed it completely after the 4th or 5th day. I decided to lift it, because I got the feeling that she was starting to stretch. In retrospect, I might use a transparant bottle and leave it on there a few additional days in the future as the seedling strongly benefits from a steady climate. Note: lighting distance about 30-40cm. I frequently checked on her to make sure she was ok. Spraying just water onto the soil whenever it would start to look/feel a bit dry (2 to 3 times per day), so constantly making sure the soil is damp. I have 1 big "normal" fan set up in the tent (100x100x160; Mars hydro), which must feel like a hurricane to them. So I ordered a mini fan to attach to the tents frame which will arrive next week. 💀👌 Keep it green you guys, Talk in the next

Her first real leaves are growing nicely, the second set of leaves are also starting to show. Have not made any changes to the watering schedules so far. Performed LST very very lightly by rubbing the stem in-between my thumb and pointing finger, making it a bit less sturdy until she bows down softly. She lifted herself back up after this and it resulted in a big difference in thickness of stem as soon as the next day. 💀👌 Keep it green you guys! Talk in the next.

Have transferred our lady into a larger pot of 12l and started to add nutrients for the first time. So for this first "feeding" I gave her about 2l water, power roots and terra grow, both from Plagron. Its a lot of water, but I did this knowing I will not feed her for a few days. I just wanted the soil to be soaked everywhere so that her roots don't experience much difficulty expanding. I was expecting her to be stunned for a few days, but she took it like a champ and just kept on growing, and growing. apparently she is loving the nutrients (see picture progress) I keep performing LST where I feel its needed, so bending the main stem lightly, bowing the bigger leaves down or to the sides in order for the smaller baby branches and leaves to get enough light as well. Sometimes I only bend a little, at times I secure them with plastic coated metal wier. It depends on how I feel they are taking it. 💀👌 Keep it green you guys! Talk in the next,

Week 4 of our first Shining silver lemon haze, feminized seed, and she is doing great! I found out only yesterday that our lovely girl is not an autoflower. Yes I'm a newb........ I got this seed from a friend last year and I didn't do sufficient research. At that time - because of my lacking experience - I just assumed he gave me something easy to grow like an autoflower. I assumed wrong lol. So of course, she is growing, and growing, and she is HUNGRY compared to my autoflowers. Earlier this week I started seeing a lot of differences between the 2 different strains (auto night queen and lemon silver haze) First of all, definitely it's size, but also my auto is starting to develop buds, which our shining silver isn't just yet. I did some additional research, and yes, I was mistaken. She is not an autoflower but a feminized seed Luckily, we are only coming up to week 5 in a few days and I caught this early enough to still change the lighting schedule when the time comes. So as a conclusion, she is doing good, I bowed down some of the lower branches giving her some daily LST, so the leaves can all receive sufficient lighting. As for water and nutrients, currently she is at 1.5l per 2 to 3 days, added 1:1000 power roots by Plagron and 1:200 terra grow by Plagron. Aiming pH levels between 6.4 and 6.7. 💀👌 Keep it green you guys ! Talk in the next.

@Cyabro, SF1000 Spider Farmer, will upgrade and buy a second one next week to start flowering separate from the auto's that are now in the tent with them. I've had it on 60% most of the time, they didn't seem to care for more intensity so far, and about 30cm distance.
