2/3 platinum punch breathe came up
2/2 brainfreeze came up
Brainfreeze seem to stretch more. They're in the same tent and under the same schedule but have run alot more. Hopefully they're pushing roots with the same vigor
Not a good week, sadly a brainfreeze fell victim to being careless and hitting it with a power cord killing. The rest are also looking pretty sad. Moved them into a tent to enjoy a more sheltered life. Planted another brainfreeze and we will see if she can catch up. Tho this set just isn't looking very promising. Debating on running the rest of the seeds from both of them next to some of mine to see if I botched something or if perhaps these aren't what they were made out to be.... so far 1 dud, 1 mutant from tarantula so I'm starting to question the quality of genetics
Another week of very little growth. Tossed the remaining 3 in some peat pucks and waiting for them to come up. Move everything out of the tent and onto a side table with a heat pad thinking perhaps temps are keeping them from growing but I'm just not having a good go with them. Hopefully the other 3 spring up and make up for the lack luster performance from these guys. Pretty sure these must just be delicate starters as I've never had issues like this before...on the plus side the new brainfreeze seems to be running strong. Hopefully I just botched this initial planting some how
Welp the mutant platinum punch breath finally keeled over and died, never truly opening up its starter leaves which kept its true leaves from opening. The other 3 have popped up and the last of the original punch breath is standing coming along despite the runny start
Well it finally come time to throw these very ambitious gals into flower. Excited to see them develop and start a new strain. Due to a move this journal got interrupted and went through some adverse conditions but these gals have done an amazing job slugging through it
Just plugging along nicely not alot to say this week. Made a fungal tea for them and will be doing a fairly aggressive defoliation this week once I've a bit of time to figure out what she needs to optimize
Starting to show her flowers and frost which is nice, hoping she keeps up her enthusiastic growth. Even the fan leaves seem to be frosting up which is promising...might make for a lot of trim to wash if she keeps it up
Not alot to report, just another easy week. Made a compost tea again. All the ladies seem to be happy as can be. About half way through flower now in theory, reammended the soil 79%284 19%444 2%0017(seaweed extract)The buds are starting to stack
Just an easy week. Dechlorinate and ph. The worms came up with the watering today. There's helpful little guys and being only in 5 gal pots I know I've managed to keep my soil conditions pretty stable and accommodating and in turn the help my soil.
Well the platinum genetics are standing out strong in these gals. Looking forward to seeing the final frost they give once they develop a bit more. Hopefully a little more mass but I'm thinking we're quickly approaching her harvest. Guessing 2 weeks
Still easily a week to go on her. She's starting to darken up in her leaves but the trichromes are holding steady and not much if any shift in them yet. Sorta impatiently waiting for her as she has some serious frost
Pretty awesome strain all in all. 2 distinct phenos the squatter of the two was definitely the frostiest looking, but slower growing. Still waiting on dry and cure for smoke report.
@Yeguamon, cheers yea its been a fantastic strain. Definitely worth picking up. Not sure if they have this anymore but every strain I've seen coming from tarantula has been impressive.
@Inganjawetrust, yea she threw out the frost super early and just keeps stacking. Looking forward to the next few weeks once chop and dry has happened. The smell is fantastic
Ended up tossing in the last 3 into peat pucks and will see how they go in a completely separate room and tent in coco instead of soil. Hopefully they'll be a bit happier
