This is a first time grow for the strain. As for the Gens, I've grown a few others and had good results but those were photos. Hopefully their auto grow as well! So far so good 😊
Update!
I had a near miss.... I have not used these lights for veg before and I lost control of the temp and light intensity. The day temps never went above 72-73 and these little girls start curling over and began to die. I had started two more, thinking these were done for. Even though the others were in the paper towels, I raised the lights from 25% dimming to 50% dimming to see what the ambient temp would be... then.. they came back. Now I have these girls back plus one more!
Not much to really report on. I'm just happy she bounced back from near death and seems to be pretty solid. Watering is just plain RO and I water about twice the distance of what the leaves span and will until I'm watering the entire pot. I won't use nutrients until 3-4 weeks in as this soil is very solid until then.
Overall, not a bad grow so far. The leaves are a bit droopy and not taking up as much water as the other two plants. I'm not terrible surprised as this one, along with the PH, had a rough start. The Purple Hulk on the other hand, is looking pretty damn good. The interesting part is that this is now the 4 grow from this company and all of the others had similar traits...
This has been an interesting grow still. Just a droopy plant that is doing it's own thing. No major problems at this time and I'll probably amend the soil with some dry nutes at the end of the week and prep for the cal-mag drag that is soon to come around.
Edit: Dry nutes applied halfway through the week. She's in preflower so prepping the soil.
Bah! I put up the wrong information... Here's the real summary;
She's still doing her thing. She's still surviving after nearly dying as a seedling. I'll just let her do her thing and throw in a little bit here or there. The only thing really to note was the dry nutes did create a crust which seemed to not allow good air flow in until I broke it up. She recovered shortly after that.
She's doing well enough. I'm just letting her go. I used well water for the last watering. The bud sites are getting larger and shes taking water more regularly now and I'm happy with that. She's actually going to make it, unlike the purple hulk...
Cheese-sus is doing Cheese-sus things. The buds are swelling still, not much in the area of trichomes but staying as healthy as she can be. Starting to get some red hairs so it's only a matter of time before harvest. I'm just happy she's still alive 😂😅
Not much to really report on. She's holding steady, gaining weight and just doing her thing. She's about 30-40% red hairs at the moment and just taking her time. Just simple watering from here on out.
I just put a little bit of dry nute in the soil to keep her going. She's still doing her thing and putting on more weight. Trichomes look good and she should be ready to harvest when the others are. She's also getting some nice autumn colors. All-in-all, I'm still impressed with her hanging on and doing what she is doing.
Despite my slip up in the beginning, the genetics proved to be strong and resilient. It was an easy grow with some dense buds! 10/10 I look forward to growing this one again!
Well, she's finally done and after a few weeks curing, she really began to shine! Just a wonderful deep smoke and the smell of mac n cheese every time I open the jar is a delight! This one is going on the list of keepers due to ease of grow, the size and density of the buds and one heck of a good smoke!
@MrHightimes,
Ha! Yeah it's something alright lol! This the 3rd strain I've grown from this place and I'm hoping it produces the same quality as the gelato mixes I grew before!
