As always the seed started their life with in water for 18 hours and then straight to paper towel. I'm surprised on how much bigger the royal jack seed is compared to the gorilla girl.
Within 48hours from starting both seeds popped up with the gorilla girl looking super vibrant.
One of the most surprising things (and the first time I encounter it) is that the gorilla girl is twin!!!!
Any ideas on how to move on with that?
Day 3 and the gorilla girls twins already popped from the soil. Looking awesome
Day 4: The twins looks a bit thin. The smaller of the two have two open her tiny cotyledons and while the bigger just managed to get rid of the shell.
Royal jack has also popped from the soil and looking nice
Day 7: Both girls spend the whole day under sun. The gorilla girl twins looks really thin with the smaller of the two being the tiniest thing I've ever seen 😀

both were sucessful
its a couriosity,,,,,,it depends in you..... i would let them together and let them grow as couriosity, without big hope of getting huge harvests....

First week came with a 10C raise in temp (from 20 to 30C within 2 days).
Royal Jack seems to be doing fine.
The gorilla girl twins seems also ok (at least he bigger of the two). The smallest of the twins seems like the tiniest thing I've ever seen. I'm starting to think the smallest one will not make it and if she is a drawback for her sis.
On 8 day the temp rose to 35C (+10 within two days) but both girls spend all day in the sun without issues (I had to keep the soil moist throughout the day)
Day 10 and the temperature is still >30C. Gorilla girl twins look tiny (especially the smaller one, not sure if I'll toss her)
On day 13 the twins still look small and frail. Royal jack seems to be picking up fast though the stem seems a bit wobbly and the root system undeveloped a bit. Days are really hot so its drying out fast. Royal jack is going to be transplanted later on tonight.
Week 3 started with a surprise. As said before I grow outdoors in a heavenly environment in Mediterranean....but. Wether can change violently and sudden. Thats the main reason I have my autos spend the first 2 weeks in small pots so I can move them inside fast if anything. changes. The girls spend all day in a protected (from the wind) wooden construction. Today a sudden wind gust (>50mph) broke the whole construction and both plants fell over. Royal jack didn't had any damage so today it was transplanted to a 11lt fabric pot and she seems to be doing fine.
The gorilla girl twins on the other hand completely went of their pot and as a result they were separated!!!
Both went back to 2 separate plastic pots (mainly to keep the roots better aerated and so far they are both alive. Being autos and already small enough I don't have high hopes that they'll recover properly but I'll give them as much love as I can.
On day 16 Royal Jack seems to be doing just fine but the gorilla girls still look small and funny.
Leaves on gorilla girls look weirder by the day.
On day 20 the biggest of the gorilla girls was transplanted on a 11lt fabric pot. Still not sure if this funny looking girls worths the effort
On the 4th week Royal Jack seems to be doing fine. The gorilla girls are still undeveloped and funny looking but they are both alive and going.
Day 26 and gorilla girl twins finally started to pick up. Still not sure if it worths the trouble and leaves look kinda mutated but probably I'll give it a go
Week 4 and Royal Jack looks awesome. She responded really well to LST. Gorilla girl twins they obvious seem to have some mutation as most of the leaves look malformed and funny. I don't expect any harvest for them but I'll keep them around anyway.
Week 5 and Royal Jack looks awesome.
The little twin mutes are now living together in the 11lt fabric pot. I probably wont harvest them so I keep them just for company.
On day 40 I notice some thrip infestation on both plans. Since both are in flowering I just sprayed the soil with a light mix with pyrethrin and defoliated the infected leaves.
Week 6 and other than a small thrip issue on both plans everything looks ok. I never spray anything after flowering so defoliation only for now.
The gorilla girl twin mutes look funny as ever but the Royal Jack is growing stronger and stronger.
Week 7 and Royal Jack is pumping up. I have a issue with thrip this year but since she is so into flowering I only try removing the infestation manually. I think she is entering her last weeks.
Just got in week 9.
Royal Jack looks like she needs a couple of weeks to be ready.
Gorilla girl twins though is about ready. Even with their mutation and their super small size both twins are packed with trichomes. I'll probably get a new seed soon. They smell delicious.
On Day the tiny Gorilla girl mutes are ready to go. Even like 10cm tall they looked packed with trichomes. I highly doubt if I get more than 10gr. I will get however some seeds for a normal grow with them
That was a funny grow. Starting from the twin seed and coming with some strange genetics that kept the twin plans small and underdeveloped. The buds however are covered with trichomes and the aroma and taste are just superb. Will definitely try a new seed.
