Day 0 - Started germination on 22 April and it’s normally about 48 hours before they’re showing a taproot but saw nothing yesterday and this morning she had about a 3/4 inch root showing so moved her to a peat pellet and placed her into the humidity dome and just waiting for her to pop through the soil.
Day 1 - Well she’s up and out of the soil and her little helmet fell off so now just waiting for her to open up a bit. I’ll give her a couple days in the humidity dome then will move her to a 3 gallon fabric pot and into the tent.
Day 2 - All looks good and giving her one more day in the humidity dome and will move her to a 3 gallon fabric pot tomorrow.
Day 3 - Not much was happening with her and decided she was ready to move to her forever home. Placed her into a 3 gallon fabric pot and moved her into the tent. I’m still keeping the bottom half of a 2 liter bottle over her to keep the humidity up a bit.
Day 6 - Nothing much to speak of today, still keeping a cover over her for higher humidity and giving her a daily foliar spray.
Day 7 - The end of week 1 and still no real issues going on, just giving her a daily foliar spray and keeping the top of the soil damp.
Day 8 - Starting week 2 and no issues or complaints so far. Just sticking to keeping the top layer of soil a bit moist and giving her a daily foliar spray.
Day 9 - Just gave her a once over today and gave her another foliar spray and sprayed the top of the soil to keep it a bit moist.
Day 10 - Getting a nice bit of growth going and still continuing with the daily foliar spray and keeping the top layer of soil moist.
Day 12 - Looking good and taking the cover off of her so the fan can start strengthening her stalk up. Gave her about 100ML of plain water today as well.
Day 13 - All good after giving her a larger dose of water yesterday. Still giving her a foliar spray but put her up on a little rack so the fan can start hitting her a bit more and build up her strength.
Day 14 - The end of week 2 and all looks good. I got a new light I hooked up yesterday and this girl really seems to like it already, it’s a Unit Farm UF2000 LED so we’ll see how this thing does on a grow from start to finish.
Day 15 - Starting week 3 today and gonna give her a bit more time and start tying her down, normally try and start around 21ish day. All looks good and gave her and 200ML’s of plain water today.
Day 16 - Wanted to wait a bit to start some training with her but I went ahead and tied her over today. Some of her lower stuff is starting to get growing good so exposing it to as much light as possible early on.
Day 20 - She’s looking pretty decent right now but not very big. I did give her a bit of plain pH’d water yesterday and continued with LST today so hoping some of the lower stuff can take off now.
Day 21 - The end of week 3 today and she’s doing ok and tied out one branch. Overall she seems to be a pretty slow grower but hoping she’ll get some spring in her step here soon. She should be ready for a bit of water tomorrow as well.
Day 22 - Starting week 4 and nothing much new, she’s definitely a bit small and now that I’m thinking of it, the last one I grew was the same well. Put out some nice tight buds but overall a pretty small plant and yield. Gave her about a quarter gallon of water so maybe that’s what she needs because the pot was pretty dry.
Day 23 - Looking better today after getting some water yesterday so did some adjusting to the pipe cleaners today and removed two big fan leaves that were blocking things in the middle.
Day 26 - All looking good and she’s starting to take on some nice growth. Not much else is happening at the moment but she did need a bit of water so gave her about a half a gallon of plain pH’d water.
Day 27 - All coming along nicely and did and little more LST with her today and removed 3 big leaves that are in the way.
Day 28 - The end of week 4 and did some more LST with her today. She’s good on water and maybe another couple of days before she needs more.
Day 29 - Starting week 5 today and all is going well and she’s definitely picked up some growth the last week or so. She should be ready for a bit of water tomorrow or the next day and don’t plan on giving her any sort of nutes until she starts flowering.
Day 30 - Did some more training with her today to try and open her up a bit more and she should be ready for some water tomorrow. Still waiting for her to show some pistils but nothing yet that I’ve noticed.
Day 34 - All looks greats and did a bit more LST with her today so I’m probably just let her grow vertically from here on out. She’s finally starting to throw some pistils out and will start giving her bloom nutes shortly. She’ll get some plain pH’d water tomorrow.
Day 35 - All looks good and she was pretty dried up so she got 1.5 gallons of plain water pH’d to 6.7. Nothing much else happening right now and letting her go vertical but might do a little more training, if she needs it.
Day 36 - Starting week 6 today and the way she’s throwing pistils out, this will probably be her last week of veg. She’s definitely a really bushy plant and hoping she’ll be starting her stretch here soon.
Day 37 - Had to do a little more training on a couple branches today but left most alone so she can start getting more vertical growth going on. Other than that, tucked as many leaves as I could and should be ready for water in another day or two.
Day 38 - She was ready for some water today so got about a gallon and a quarter of plain pH’d water. When she’s ready for more, she’ll get her first round of bloom nutes. She got about 3/4’s of an inch of stretching the past 24 hours.
Day 41 - All looks good and she’s really starting to stretch quite a bit now. She was ready for a bit of water so I gave her a gallon along with her first round of bloom nutes.
Day 42 - The end of week 6 and this girl is gorgeous and gonna have cola everywhere. Big difference from when I grew her once before, she was a tiny runt and looks like this girl will be a beast when done. Not seeing any issues after giving her the first round of nutes yesterday. Just did a little leaf tucking with her today.
Day 43 - Starting week 7 and the first full week of flower today and looking great and stretching over an inch in a 24 hour period. Didn’t do much with her today other than some leaf tucking and should be ready for water in another day or two.
Day 44 - Not much I had to do with this girl tonight other than giving her about a gallon of plain pH’d water and tucked her leaves. She’s looking mighty strong.
Day 48 - All seems to be going good and she’s starting to stack up the flowers a bit now. She was ready for some water when I got back from my weekend trip so gave her about a gallon and a half of plain pH’d water.
Day 50 - Starting week 8 and she’s starting to stack up nicely but not really developing and frost just yet but that’ll come. Didn’t really have much to do with her today other than do a bit of leaf tucking.
Day 51 - Nothing new today other than giving her a gallon of water and nutes. I removed a couple of yellow leaves in the middle lower part of the plant that’s just not getting any light.
Day 53 - Not much of an update today other than some new pictures. She’s really starting to stack up nicely and will need a round of water in another couple of days.
Day 55 - She was just about dried up so she got a gallon of plain pH’d water today. Not much else happening with her other than some leaf tucking.
Day 56 - Ending week 8 today and she’s coming on strong and developing some nice looking flowers. Nothing much really happening with her other than some yellowing of some leaves so gonna do a check of the pH next watering and see if I need to up her nutrient intake or not.
Day 57 - Starting week 9 today and she’s really starting to pack on some buds now. Nothing much happening right now, just continuing to remove any dead leaves from the bottom and tucking others. Shell definitely be ready for some water tomorrow.
Day 58 - Gave the girl a gallon of water today with nutes and I upped the dosage a bit because she’s getting a bit yellow. The pH is right at 6.7 and runoff is 6.8 so thinking she’s not getting enough of what she needs so we’ll see how she takes it.
Day 59 - Another day and nothing much to speak of other than I think I got the nutrients dialed in to what she likes. The tips are just a little burnt so as long as she doesn’t get worse than that, I’ll stick with the dosage I used yesterday.
Day 62 - Coming along well and she’s really starting to stack up now. She was ready for water so gave her a gallon of water and the new Gold Leaf one step nutes.
Day 63 - Ending week 9 and nothing new happening, just got some updated daily pictures and did some leaf tucking.
Day 64 - Starting week 10 and nothing major happening with her right now other than she’s really starting to stack up even more now and finally starting to get a bit of nice frost on her. She’ll be ready for a bit of plain water tomorrow.
Day 69 - Went out of town for the holiday and my “caretaker” didn’t do to good with her, she’s yellow all over and no where near finished so hoping giving her some water and nutes today will help her out.
Day 70 - The end of week 10 and nothing much to update but I did remove a few more dead/dying leaves from her. I realize too that I haven’t been giving her any cal-mag so next watering I’m going to add that to the water and hopefully that’ll help her out but she might be to far gone and what I get is what I get.
Day 71 - Starting week 11 today and everything seems to be leveling out. I don’t see anymore yellowing happening so hoping she’ll be good to go till the finish. Finally starting to see some frost developing. She should be ready for water tomorrow and gonna give her a healthy dose of Cal-Mag with it.
Day 75 - Nothing much new or to speak of today other than she got a gallon of water and nutes today. Removed just a couple dead leaves from the bottom and finally starting to see some frost developing.
Day 76 - Nothing to update today other than some updated pictures, all is looking good since I upped the cal-mag intake.
Day 77 - Ending week 11 today and looks like this girl has still got quite a bit of time left. Hopefully she’ll finish up strong and quick. This is pretty close to being one of my longest grows. I’ll give her a round of water tomorrow with cal-mag and a spoonful of brown sugar.
Day 80 - Into week 12 now and all still looks good but still quite a bit of time before she’s ready to be cut. Gave her a gallon of water and nutes today and did a little bit of leaf tucking.
Day 81 - Just some updated pictures today, not much else happening with her and she’s still going strong.
Day 83 - She was almost dried up so upped the water intake a bit and gave her a gallon and a half with 12.5 ML’s of Cal-Mag. Waiting for any signs that’s she’s slowing down but as of now still looking like quite a few weeks left but maybe she’ll finish up quick.
Day 84 - Nothing new today, just some updated pictures. I may end up using a few plant yo-yo’s since some of these colas are getting heavy and really starting to lean.
Day 87 - Gave her a gallon of water and nutes today, all still looks good. Not much else happening with her at the moment.
Day 88 - This big girl is still chugging right along and seems to be doing well. Did a light defoliating today and letting her do her thing.
Day 89 - Just updated pics, nothing much new going on today. Continuing to retuck some leaves when she needs it.
Day 90 - Gave her a gallon of pH’d water tonight with 15ML’s of Cal-Mag. Other than that, put her back into the tent and did some leave tucking again. She’s still not showing any signs of slowing down.
Day 92 - Starting week 14 and upped her water intake, I’m having to water her too often so gave her 2 full gallons today with nutes. Other than that, I’ve got to use the plant yo-yo’s to keep her held up, she’s really starting to lean from the weight now.
Day 95 - Nothing much today other than she was ready for water so gave her about a gallon and a half with 15ML’s of Cal-Mag.
Day 96 - Nothing much today, just updated pics and started using the yo-yo’s now to keep her standing up. The colas are getting really heavy and leaning so hoping these help. I’ll have to just get her watered inside the tent, when needed, so I don’t have to worry about them falling and breaking off.
Day 97 - Again, nothing new, just some updated pictures for the day. Only difference is I’m finally starting to notice a bit more frost developing.
Overall this grow was smooth and didn’t notice any major issues, other than a calcium deficiency early on in flowering. She was a beast of a plant just didn’t get really compact buds with her and she’s definitely got a lot of airy buds throughout. I’m still pleased overall with the grow and want to do another one here soon.
