These are to be grown outdoors, the seedling have been split 2 outside permanently in a larger pot with a small dome and the other 2 in small pots coming inside every night for the first two weeks to see what difference if any it will make. No artificial light is being used. Neither is currently showing and cause for concern other than being a little “leggy”.
What a fuckin disaster, of a week🤬 Ive messed up. First off I was leaving two seedlings outside at night and bringing the other two in to see the difference, decided that I wasn’t taking them in and out early/consistently enough to their detriment. So I decided to transplant so all the seedlings are outdoors 24/7, I had decided to put the ones that start outdoors in 3gal fabric pots and I put the others in 5 gal plastic pots to see what difference if any it would make. But in my haste I filled my containers from the wrong pile of soil and didn’t notice until a few days later (due to improper water retention). So I’ve now again repotted them into their outdoor pots with proper potting mix and 3 out of 4 are showing signs of extreme stress.😢 I’m going to leave them alone for a few more days to see if they bounce back but I’m not too hopeful. I may have to give up on most of these and start again with the other half of the seeds I ordered. I guess 1 of 4 isn’t a complete failure and at least I’ll have learned something and it’ won’t have been a complete waste of time and money.
Takin more of a hands off attitude for these gals, of the two that are left they both look healthy and managed the stress of our record breaking heat alright.
Keepin to my hands off approach it seems to be working so I’m not going to fix it. Still feeding 2/3 strength nutes I’m quite surprised at the way they’ve bounced back from the rough start they had.
This outdoor plant wasn’t a resounding success, but after all the difficulties I created myself I still got some decent smoking buds, not a lot but whatever. I learned enough for next time to make it worth my while
