The bud is very airy, especially after removing the seeds. Extremely sticky/resinous. Its a light whiteish-green, with a ton of brown hairs. The buds will now cure for a minimum of 2 weeks, at which point I'll start cracking into them and having a good toke!
As this was my first grow, I have never experimented with a nutrient regimen other than this one. And honestly, I have no reason to look elsewhere. It works well. Upon further research, I may add to the lineup, but can't think of a reason why I wouldn't buyagain/suggest General Hydroponics' products.
I love this light. Once I move into my new house, I will likely be buying 2-3 more of the same model. Low power usage. Low- heat emission. Bright as hell. Full spectrum, so good for any cycle with 0 hassle. And the adjustable intensity knob allows it to fit any situation. The simplicity and universality is what makes this light everything an amateur or veteran could ever want out of an LED.
Solid tent when considering build and materials. Where it lacks slightly is design.
The partitioned area with the shelf, doesn't really allow for you to get those lights high enough above your seedlings/veg plants. In theory, the tent can provide a place for all 3 light cycles, but your timing needs to be on point, and you don't really get the ability to go large in veg. It gets hard to use the larger section as another veg option once your cycle is in full-swing and its being used as a flowering room for 8-12 weeks. At which point your veg plants are exploding out of the area and growing wayyyyy too close to your lights.
It's a long-winded complaint, but my only one. Otherwise, great tent!
This strain was a pain in the ass honestly. I will never grow bagseeds again, when real genetics are so cheap.
This plant hermmed so I have a metric fuckton of seeds that I have no idea what to do with.
But for a first grow, this plant was really good at letting me know when I was doing something wrong. My other runs suffered the same treatment, but their strong genetics didn't mind as much. But this plant, this plant bitched and moaned about everything. Its leaves faded like 2 weeks early. It had all these weird mutations. When she was a babe (Weeks 1-4), I literally thought that she died from how she didn't grow much at all. Every other plant I've popped since, has been a dream compared to this one. But now I know how to diagnose all these things. I feel like I got 10 grows worth of wisdom in one. So for that, I am thankful.
RIP Big Bertha. You may be gone but, with the amount of seeds you've given me, your lineage will never die.
@GarciasGarden, she was a bagseed, so I guess its to be expected :/ But either way, its my first grow and looks like it'll be a good yield, so I cant complain.
@SegaYGriega, thanks!! That's comforting to hear since I was reading that seed production takes away from THC production, but you're not the first to tell me that it actually made the bud better somehow haha
