Day 1
Very excited to try Fast Bud seeds. I have nutrients on the way and as soon as they arrive I'm starting the schedule. If all goes well I'm growing in 20l Air-Pots using a peat moss greenhouse mix as my growing medium.
Day 5
I looked this morning and the ground had still not broken. Getting a little anxious now. I'll take a look when I get home and if there is still nothing I'm going to do a little digging.
Woot! Got home and the ground has been broken.
Day 6
Lemon AK Auto looking oh so lovely. I'll give it a few more days then move it to its final pot and start it on its nutrient schedule.
Day 8
Before this Lemon stretches too much, I've moved it to its final pot. I have this AK in a 19.1L AirPot growing in a peat moss mixture I picked up from a greenhouse supplier. I'll keep an eye on progress and will start with the nutrient schedule when it looks ready.
Day 9
First night in the large pot and it looks like she has settled well.
Day 11
The first true leaves are coming out nicely and it wont be long before we move into veg. Temperatures are ranging from 34 to 13 degree celcius in the greenhouse.
Day 13
Gave her first dose of nutrients this morning. After adding nutes the Ph was still a little high and had to be dropped. Got it to 6.5ph and watered with 2L.
Day 15
Still looking healthy and going well. I'm eager to see this one take off.
Day 17
Still much of the same.
Day 19
Things look like they are about to really start growing. More leaves, more sun, faster growth.
Day 20
I've been thinking on all ideas and where to take this one and I think I'll grow it up and guide the stems horizontally out trimming small nodes from the lower stems to promote growth of thier cola. I've been practicing with the Diesel Auto and its going well so far. This looks like the way FastBuds does it so since this is my first FastBuds seed I'd like to emulate to compare. It completly sux that I'm doing this during winter, but for sure I'll be growing more of their seeds in summer.
Day 22
As expected the growth is taking off. Today I watered with a stronger solution than last time.
Day 23
I gave her a higher concentration of nutrients yesterday to meet the needs of a growing plant. Still looking very nice. I had to churn the top layer of medium the other day as algae started covering everything. I also sprayed Bioneem again. There are aphids, none on this tree, that are still getting on the leaves of the bigger plants and there will be a point where I wont be able to spray at all, I need to know that the plant will remain protected during this time.
Day 27
The lower part of Lemon AK is still very thin in comparison to the top, but I have noticed the autos tend to thicken at the top, then the bottom.
Day 29
Today was supposed to be nute and water day, but the medium I have her in holds water really well. I skipped the water for now and might only water again next week. I'm worried I'm seeing overwatering.
Day 30
I have increased the concentration of the Bioneem oil as it does not seem to be working very well. Gave everything a solid dose.
Day 33
This grow medium holds water so well I'm going to have to rework my watering schedule. I was hoping I could rely on the mediums aeration and the AirPot but it still got over watered. I'm going to leave it for now and hope it all comes right.
Day 37
So far I've not watered for a bit over a week. The water retention is so much that even 6 days after the last watering, I could take a handfull of the top soil and ring water out of it. This is a completely new growing medium for me so, learning. I looks like things are coming right and I will start watering again but in much smaller quantities.
