Day 1
My friend sounded very excited talking about this one, said it was all the rage. I have nutrients on the way and as soon as they arrive I'm starting the schedule. If all goes well I'm growing in 20l Air-Pots using a peat moss greenhouse mix as my growing medium.
Day 5
I looked this morning and the ground had still not broken. Getting a little anxious now. I'll take a look when I get home and if there is still nothing I'm going to do a little digging.
Still nothing had popped so I decided to do a little delicate digging. I did bury the seed a little deep. It had opened and was making its way to the surface, so I exposed it a little.
Day 6
Exposing the new shoot to light really got things on the go. I'll give it a few more days then move it to its final pot and start it on its nutrient schedule.
Day 8
Things are really starting to take off now. I've added in a support to help the seedling while it stretches.
Before it stretches too much, I've moved it to its final pot. I have this in a 50L AirPot growing in a peat moss mixture I picked up from a greenhouse supplier. I'll keep an eye on progress and will start with the nutrient schedule when it looks ready.
Day 11
Been reading on the grow time of this Runtz and I'm still not sure I belive it. 72 days from seed to harvest, this I've got to see. My biggest draw back is the time of year. I'm moving into winter now and that has a massive impact of plants, so I'm not getting too excited about yeilds and potentials.
Day 13
Today I started the nutrient schedule as we move towards the vegetative stage. Solution was balanced to 6.5ph and I used 2L water per plant.
Day 18
Still growing well. Now with a bit more leafage I'm hoping to see a growth spurt.
Day 20
Early days. The least exciting part of the growth stage, just waiting for it to get to a point where you can start some LST and watch it grow.
Day 23
Watered yesterday with a slightly stronger solution to meet the current needs of a growing plant. Gave a spray of Bioneem to make sure no pests settle. So far it's going well and the plant is looking healthy.
Day 27
Growing well, the quiet before the storm.
Day 29
Today was supposed to be nute and water day, but the medium I have her in holds water really well. I skipped the water for now and might only water again next week. I'm worried I'm seeing overwatering.
Day 30
Sprayed everything with a stronger solution of Bioneem oil to fight off the aphids.
Day 33
This grow medium holds water really well and it has lead to over watering. I'm going to hold off any liquids for a bit and hope all works out.
