Getting very close to harvest now. I've had a squeeze of some of the buds and they are absolutely solid...not airy at all. I will look at the trichomes again this weekend but I think that I will be starting to flush soon.

π 31st July 2021 (Day 79) - Did a little yellow fan leaf defoliation. Also watered with 3L of water at pH6.5 followed by 2L of feed at the same pH (probably the last feed).
π 1st Aug 2021 (Day 80) - Inspected trichomes with digital microscope. Majority of trichomes are now cloudy and a few early amber ones too. So, flush starting now.
π 3rd Aug 2021 (Day 82) - Watered with 5L of water at pH6.5.
π 6th Aug 2021 (Day 85) - Watered with 5L of water at pH6.5. I put some ice cubes in the water to give her the impression that autumn is close and to stimulate a last big push of trichome production.

Hello. I know that I shouldn't water unless the top inch of soil is dry, but when I do add water should I add enough to get 10% run off even with a day-19 plant? She is in a 5 gallon fabric pot with Biobizz Allmix soil. Does the 10% run-off thing also apply to feeding? Thanks.

I'm using the same soil as you.. good choice π.. that's how I water. I also run 2l of plain water through sometimes (to get rid of salt buildup) then I run 2L of nutes. You can't overwater them in one go. It just needs to dry out (not fully) before the next watering. So much conflicting information about.
I soaked my pot 24hours before seed then left it for 10 days and my plants are looking big for their age I think. I water 2L when they feel really light and i haven't had any issues π

Bro be careful with watering long straws means it is getting enough of water if you overwater it will get stunned and you will wash the nutes

@green_beast, Thank you. I watered yesterday because she was starting to droop her leaves and the soil was definitely quite dry as its quite hot here at the moment. I am still learning but I try not to over-water, but I will do some more reading on the subject as I want to give her the best conditions. Thanks again for your help π

@Inganjawetrust, Thank you. I'm very pleased with the way its going. It will be interesting to see the difference between this grow and my previous AK48 grow which gave me 1.16 ounces of bud and a musketball sized lump of hash from the trim π
