I haven't started the feeding until today, until I saw that the plant is slowly losing color and the small round leaves are starting to go yellow a bit. This is my first time using Advanced Nutrients, and honestly I'm so confident that I'm only going to grow one plant in a 3x3 tent. Hope that this one will grow like a mofo and fill up the tent. Fingers crossed
This is my first plant without any issues, none whatsoever. Very strong and resilient. I keep the humidity high and don't spray it with anything. It's gonna be great ! 😎😛
Mid week update - wow this growth is just amazing to watch. Stem is really thick, branches are thick too and they are spreading like crazy. Soon I'm going to use LST clips and defoliate a bit, those fan leaves are massive
I tried to use LST clips, but they were too small and I broke a few branches but they seem to continue to grow. I highly recommend using wire or string the old fashion way, clips are not as good as I thought.
Update - Few broken branches and a few severely bent can't really do anything to the plant. She just doesn't care, keeps growing in all directions. This is the one :D
Another week goes by, the plant is doing great. She is growing like crazy. I had to defoliate few times, each time taking like 10/15 big leaves off.
She is going into preflower slowly, day by day, but I'm gonna keep her on the Veg nutes for at least another week, maybe even 2.
Wow what an amazing plant, every day I'm just amazed how fast she grows. She is now very close to full flower mode, I can see the final stretch kinda slowing down but I'm going to keep her on VEG nutes for one more week just to be on the safe side.
The light is now on 18-6 and I need to keep the air vent on all the time, she evaporates a lot of humidity and needs constant air-flow.
It's finally time to switch from VEG to BLOOM, the buds are really starting to shape all over the plant. She looks large and in charge!
Now it's time to fatten up and get them flowers large. I think I just got lucky with this strain, she grew much more than I expected. Hopefully nothing goes wrong from now on.
Right, so day 57 from sprouting. The photos speak for themselves, buds are starting to form all around and the plant looks very healthy and strong. Didn't have any burn, no deficiencies or nothing.
The main colas have 35 cm of straight buds, I have never seen anything like it. I roughly counted over 150 bud sites last week, now this has merged into larger buds. It's gonna be amazing :DDDDD 😎
Midweek update - day 60 - major defoliation and cleanup, lollipoping as much as I dared. I am not experienced enough to call this a good job, but the plant looks much better and light is penetrating all the way to the lower branches.
Well it looks like she is nearing the end and the trichomes are slowly getting milky. Day 64 is today, it still looks strong and growing steadily every day. The smell is incredible and strong. Not too strong, but strong enough to be noticeable from meters away even when the tent is closed.
If someone more experienced can tell me, based on the color of the trichomes, how many weeks to the end? I feel like I will keep feeding her for at least another 2 weeks, then we start flushing.
The buds are dense, but they are not too big if I'm gonna be honest. I started feeding her Overdrive now, which should give her that last push and thick and fat buds that we all hope to see.
Any thoughts are welcome :D
Day 71 - Another week goes by, and we are getting closer and closer to harvest. I can clearly see that she has gained some weight, compared to last week. It's still not like in those pics like when you shop for seeds, but I am not disappointed. The colours are great, smells very strong and sweet. She started using less and less water, now 2l bottle lasts for 2 days. When she was stretching, over 2l per day of nutrients.
Day 73 - Update - I noticed that a lot of buds are starting to foxtail and I don't really like that. I see no reason why I should keep feeding her for any longer, so I flushed it today. I'm gonna keep her under the lights for another week, then I'm gonna leave her 48 hours in total darkness and it's chop time. I also started to notice first trichomes going amber.
Day 76 - photos speak for themselves. Covered in trichomes, about 7% - 10% amber. She is going to get chopped down on Thursday.
So this plant just keep amazing me. It started strong, explosive growth in the early stages made the plant huge with a lot of small branches. I'm not very experienced, this was my 3rd grow and by far the most successful. I would recommend this strain to everyone, really.
I topped the plant, even tho most people on the internet say that autos shouldn't be topped, and it went great. I got 2 large main tops with a lot of small branches, so I would do it again.
The high is mellow and relaxing, but still pretty strong.
Don't know what to say anymore, stay high my friends and good luck
