15/05/21: Marks the 8th day since the first seed sprouted on 7/05/21. Temp has been an issue sometimes reaching 34 C (Hygrometer is in direct light) so I dimmed the lights to 75% and moved it from 30" to 24" above canopy.
PPM was increased from 250 to 500 today. I probably should have done this gradually at a 50 ppm increase per day.
I tried taking out the drivers from the mars hydro to mount outside the tent in order to reduce temps but the cords were only 3 ft. Not enough length.
16/05/21: 3L per plant 450 ppm Nutes. Plants are growing fast but not looking the healthiest
17/05/21: 2L per plant 500ppm nutes. Leaves are curling up possibly due to heat stress/light being too close. I moved the lights back up to 30" from 24" and dimmed to 75%. Hoping they will recover okay.
Iv'e been keeping the AC on during the day and there is enough ventilation in the tent. I put my hand at the canopy and this led light produces quite a bit of heat which explains the curled up leaves. I should have done this before and started at a higher light and gradually lowered.
18/05/21: Leaves starting to curl up ion edges
19/05/21: Startted LST on 2 of them. Accidentally topped a small sub-node on my very first attempt as well as clipped a part of the fan leaf.
21/05/21: Nitrogen Toxicity getting severe with 1.5 ml/: of Canna Nute, Flushed with 07 ml of A+B with 1ml/L Cal Mag
Should I abandon the stunted plant? The first set of nodes are tiny and it's trying to grow the second set of nodes but is this plant doomed and am I better off starting with new seeds (another 7-10 days).
This one has the worst marks but most of my plants have some marks. I hand water for now and get some spots on the leaves by accident. Does this look like Mag deficiency?
They look like water spots. Really hard to avoid when they don’t stretch far above soil. Even the water off soil evaporating will cause if your temps are high and humidity is low. Happy growing and great start!
The main stem of my plant (2 weeks old) snapped like a paper in half 2 cm above the soil while attempting to LST 15 hrs ago. One leaf has dropped dead and crispy while majority of the leaves are still fine. I cant tape it as there are so many new nodes in a short stem.
Welp I killed 1 plant by snapping the main stem 2 cm from the ground trying to LST. It's one of the bigger ones too. now I gotta decide if I want to grow a photo (only seed I have) in that pot.
@nohate,I ooked at the pictures, they still look fine, if something wors happens, it coud be bad. the light shoud be fine at 28-30 inches,
give them some time to heal and be happy again. But carefull with watering too much, i give mine around 4 - 4,5dl around the plant, and gradually
increase dosis. and if they dong get better, its something else we must find. i cross my fingers for you, and will follow you so i can se how it it going🙏
@nohate, Yeah bro! It’s best to use fresh trim but best thing you can do is put your trim and fluff in the freezer! Leave for a couple days it’ll make the trichomes harden up so you can extract/separate. Hopefully this help.
Really impressed bud production over the last 2 weeks and we are starting to see a crazy crystal coverage forming 👌
Looking good in here 🤗🤗
Kind regards ✌️
