bobtheblob First "breeding" attempts - reversed a clone of Tropicana Banana (neighbor diary) and pollinated all that had at that time, that's one of the results. I got only 3 seeds from this lady, and that's one of them. REAL SELECTA! 😆 Germinated in the "Root Riot" block. Like them. *Personal opinion* I reuse old coco and not really caring about flushing it perfectly, so I tend to imagine that having this thing around the seed is a kinda safety measure against probably-too-salty coco coir Accidently cut part of the leaf on day 8 after sticking it to the yellow fly trap, sad pictures next week.

bobtheblob Recovering from leaf tear, all good apart from that. New leaves show a bit weird pattern, could be badly flushed coco coir or fucked up genetics because of reversal, though I vote for the first one for now.

bobtheblob All good! Color becomes more normal, no weird spots which are something-deficiency most likely (cal-mag? :) ) Still spreading the branches. Did HST on two smaller branches that got stretched too much. No stigmas, hence marking as vegetation.

bobtheblob She's stretching like crazy, as usual mostly resembling mother's morhphology. Though the second 'mother' was as stretchy as the first one. All seem good, except the color which is a bit lighter than what I'm used to

bobtheblob The stretch has finally stopped, the burns are also slowed down, the green seems to be normal and the buds are slowly getting bigger. All good. Calmag I've ordered turned out to be a "buffer for soft water", don't know how to mix it in a hard one :-D Probably will try with the next solution mix

bobtheblob Getting fatter! First orange stigmas on top, still white in all other places. Smells sweet and sour, mostly resembling mother's aromas. Frosty as alpine tops :)

I declare this thing Limoncello :-D Somehow super sweet lemon tones came through, probably sour kosher genetics, and few hints of milky-creamy-something probably coming from the cookies' background. I like crossing! Never played animal crossing though ... :-P

Brother you need a little cal mag in your life lol, it contains a little nitrogen which will help to darken up the leaves plus obviously keep the calcium and magnesium issues especially in coco. EC is quite high they must be a strain which maybe requires higher than average levels. To be honest though they look real good👍

@bobtheblob, canna actually now sell a cal mag additive so might be worth buying theres. Many company stripped the cal mag out of their 2 part feeds over the last few years to force us to buy a separate bottle lol

@Esoteric_growing, yep, I reuse it all the time and probably not flushing it properly, that shrivelling looks like chem burn to me. Not all seedlings suffer from this though, so it's a combo of bad coco + sensitive gal I guess
