Plants seemed to have grown a decent amount in the first week and I have high hopes for these guys! I am still not sure of the strain name, but I am pretty sure these are auto plants based on the limited information my mother in law knows about them. I have purchased Magic Melon Auto Flower seeds from Humboldt and am currently germinated 2 seeds that I plan to gift to my mother in law for her to grow them in her backyard for me.
I am going to be repotting the plants into bigger pots soon as I can see the roots of each plant reaching the bottom of the current pots there are in.
UPDATES:
May 19th: Today I repotted the plants into the 3 gallon pots I got for them. Was one of the easiest transfers I have ever done with a plant before, non-cannabis plants included! I am hoping that it wasn't too much of a shock for them and they will now thrive in their new pots. I decided to go with Gaia Green Living Soil to stick with a common theme of products. Upon planting I gave each plant close to 0.8L of water that was mixed with the ProMix RootBooster and also sprinkled close to 3tsp of the Gaia Green All Purpose nutrients.
May 23rd: Forgot to take some pictures for May 21st, so I instead took them for May 22nd. Trying to show every 2 days for the veg stage, though I can see me getting lazy with it as the weeks go on lol. Will do my best to keep you updated!
May 25th: Mother in law asked me to take 4 others and let them grow in my tent a bit before transporting them outside. They are not looking to great, very little growth and super long stems (same height as mine). They havent even grown their true leaves yet. I am hoping that a week or two here will help jump start them and I can bring them over to be planted before June 7th. Have another 1000w grow light on the way to help get these little guys going, which I'm hoping will also help the growth and flowering of the ones I have! Due to the ones my mother in law had not being successful, it's a possibility I might have to give her the 3 I have been growing :( I'm really hoping I don't have to do this as mine, imo, have been doing super well and the ones I took from her are looking a lot like the ones I got from her on May 10th. :/
P.S. Might include some photos of my mother in laws plant that will be grown outside in the weeks to come :)
Cheers to a (currently π ) happy growing!
If they flowered by THEMSELF'S without u switching light.. Then they are autoflower.. But if you stressed her she will take longer to flower ( 3-4 wk st of flower no stress. Compared 4-6 wk st of flowering as she recovers.). Then it should be back on track.. If you didn't change to 12 hr on and she started flower then she's an auto..π³π³π€π€π€πππgood luck with your growπ and have fun with the grow buddy.and your harvest
