Looking forward to this grow! My partner has one on the go as well, so I will be able to keep that one as a guide as to how I am doing. (hope to get a red pheno)
Substrate consists of re-amended soil from a previous Lemon Haze plant, and added coarse coco coir. We wanted to try to stay away from pearlite from now on, and this gives great drainage in the finer coir. There is still some pearlite present, from the previous grow, so it's not completely forgotten about.
I mixed in about 1tsp of Dynomyco to the solo cup soil mix (I heard of someone doing this and resulted in major root growth, so let's find out).
I will be posting any added nutrients in the comments, and not the spot the site wants you to put them, so keep an eye out for updates. (∪ ◡ ∪)
(I'm still new so I have been getting help with nutrient amounts from my partner, until I am confident enough where I can measure all my nutrients myself, and will be able to update my diaries correctly)
This will be the first grow I have done where I plant the seed directly into the medium, normally I go the paper towel method, but wanted to go more natural this time around.
Red Hot Cookies by Sweet Seeds
"Top-quality genetic as a result of crossing a clone of an American 'Super Strong' Cookie strain – Tropicanna Cookies – with a clone selected from a second American strain – the potent, mandarin-scented Tangie (Girl Scout Cookies x Tangie). We chose exotic lineages with red flower phenotypes when crossing these two varieties. The red flowers develop in around 60% of the offspring and tend to appear in the last few weeks of flowering, beginning with the lower branches and flowers before spreading to the top of the plant.
Red Hot Cookies®️ (SWS83) is a 'Super Strong', highly productive and resinous strain with high THC levels of up to 25%. It has an excellent scent and taste; it is sweet, deep and dense, with marked tones of mandarin and mango, plus hints of fruits of the forest."
... Things I am looking forward most for this grow, is being able to play around with reliable genetics for a change. The sweet notes, and fruity undertones is another thing I am very much looking forward to! I have to admit, I am a sucker for colorful strains, and even more of a sucker for (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ fruity dankness~*✧:・゚

Germination in 2 days! (it wasn't up when I looked this morning) Amazing! Stuck her in the veg tent, humidity up (plastic baggy) til she opens, probably will be off by tonight.

Looking good, a little wet but looks healthy.

Nothing much to report, looks good.
Thanks for sharing a new diary with one of our strains.
We hope you enjoy it :P
Once finished, with the final notes of the strains, you can ask us for more seeds to share another diary.
Sweet smokes!
