Excessive rain waterlogged this planter. I initially thought this was too much sun, but now I think the leaf damage is overwater related. I have improved the drainage and am letting it dry out.
The Tangerine Kush definitely made it out of whatever the issue was over the last few weeks. Increased drainage and letting it dry out seems to have done the trick. Really happy with the new growth.
The drainage issue seems to be fixed, and this plant is really taking off! Need to transplant and top it soon so it can bush out more and reach it's potential.
The TK enjoys the transplant into an 80L garbage can even more than the Nuken! FIMmed and defoliated slightly... didn't want to stress it out too much around the transplant.
This plant has really taken off now that it's settled into its new home. I tried to FIM it but don't think it worked properly... but I've been defoliateing the inside and trying to keep things productive.
I almost cut my damn finger off defoliating this bush, but came back and gave it another crack. The foliage is so thick on this (not sure why it's so much thicker than my other plants) but I did what I could to thin things out. I need to go at it again, but wanted to give the plant time to recover from this heavy trimming.
As I finally took a stab at LST, I noticed all the fine white hairs growing... is this the precursor to flowering? Very excited to see how this continues to grow!
The tangerine Kush is doing really well here... but I think I need to defoliate the interior more. There are so many little leaves up and down the branches, some of them are dying off and getting missed. I'm concerned about airflow if I leave it like this too long.
This plant seems to be really progressing well. My only concern is how tightly compacted all of the interior foliage is. There are a number of leaves that have died, but are trapped between the branches unseen. I wish I had defoliated a bunch of the lower leaves and crap before it grew this big and started to flower. Slowly working on trying to clean that up without damaging any buds.
Flushing the soil this week to try to clear out any residual plant food from the soil, starting a bloom booster today. Still plugging away at thinning out the inside of the plant without impacting the buds that are forming. Happy with how the flowers are forming!
This one keeps exploding from week to week, which is really exciting to see. Still working on thinning out the interior, but its all pretty tight. Developing flowers are fascinating to look at.
This is probably my most mature and prolific plant in the 2021 grow season. Beautiful flowers, lush foliage, and plentifiul trichomes. Can't wait for the harvest in the next few weeks!
I loved my experience growing this plant. It made me feel competent, it survived anything I threw at it, and has beautiful flowers. Looking forward to the first taste.
