Started seed with paper towel in a closed Ziploc bag under a bathroom sink cabinet where a vent from HVAC is located. Left the seeds for two days when a tail emerged after 48 hours. Transplanted into a mixture of "final home" soil (a mixture of FFHF, FFOF, and Coco Pearl) in 2 inch peat pot. Watered with filtered water with a small amount of Recharge and Cal-Mag. Left on a heat pad overnight.
Three days after planting in the soil, the stem popped. This is currently the lagger behind my three other seeds that started at the same time. Left on window sill for the first three days and afterwards spent 8am to 6pm outdoor in the polytunnel. Brought in at night. Not much going on now but the stem appears to have a pink hue. The beauty of the plants colors from what I saw on GD is what drew me towards this strain.
Transplanted into final home which consists of approx 6 oz of Natures Living Soil Autoflower mixture, 1 gallon of Happy Frog, 2 gallons of Ocean Forest and 1 gallon of Coco Pearl. The plants are in a polytunnel with a double layer of 6 mil poly sheeting. The weather at night has been dropping to the mid 40s unfortunately which might stunt them a bit. Watering with Calmag and Recharge as needed.
More sunshine this week, temperatures overnight were in the 50s and generally I try to open the ventilation on the polytunnel at around 7-8am where the heat raises to mid 80s with the polytunnel closed. I watered alot less than I thought I would need to but never mixed in coco into my soil mixture before which might be the reason why. Will try to monitor exact watering techniques as I go. Plants seem to be happy and healthly so can't complain.
More general sun exposure as the rain storms have settled down. Watered on 06/04 and left for the weekend. Came back on 06/07 and saw some good growth. Have been watering via 2 liter bottles to mix in Recharge and CalMag.
Had first signs of flowering on 6/10, which is about 4 weeks from seed pop. Top dressed the plants with wiggle worm casting. Recently invested in an aquacrest outdoor hose filtered to start watering the plants directly so no longer measuring water intake and relying on bag weight. The temps have reached over 100 outdoors which makes the hoophouse even hotter with temps reaching 107 at one point which results in more frequent watering. No visible signs of heat stress just yet but cant imagine the temps are good for the plants but have limited options so hoping for the best.
