Crossing something is an amazing experience, much recommended to anyone who loves weed.
Three lessons:
0) Pull the boys out early!
1) Record and take pictures of which branches and when you pollinate
2) Don't keep different strains males at one time to at least understand which pollen was used :-D
Looking forward to seeing how this one develops👊 The mother looked absolute fire🔥 crossing that with the thc heavy runtz is a exciting cross for sure brother
@@Trumptight420, thanks again, and all the best to you too!
I've watched one of the videos with Kyle and heard the story, yep. I bet I have all the chances to become that mediocre basement grower from that story 😝 I'll save my work for a real cannabis star so he/she could make seeds and tell the stories about it on youtube. Yeey! 😆
But jokes and cynism aside imagine how many gems weren't ever discovered, so yeah, I get what you mean 😬
@bobtheblob, That is the best part...Beautiful accidents can happen...Have you heard the story about Kyle Kushman and Strawberry Cough? Grow strong and have fun learning...hopefully I can pick up a thing or few 🙏 Happy growing friend and keep up with it don't get discouraged💪
@Esoteric_growing, it's the third week on 12/12, but there were no pistils till the end of the previous week, I'm marking flowering when the pistils start to appear (outdoor style? saw that in one diary here also), so I'm not really sure if the flowering time cut down or not. I guess should I check trichomes on this one more thoroughly
Have you thought about adding some cal mag? Looks like the plant could do with it, start maybe at 0.5ml per L and maximum of 1ml if improvements are not seen.
I have found most strains need this when using coco.
@Esoteric_growing, I didn't buy it yet, but I've noticed the deficiency, yep :-P. She's already in the flowering tent under the drip atm, can't wait to see the buds :-D
@Esoteric_growing, yep a male of supposed-to-be CBD strain. And now a male of a cross of Runtz Muffin and Very Cherry :-D Should've pulled it earlier - you theoretically can grow both males and females in one place but you need to spot formed flowers and pull it out before it starts opening pollen sacks. Also reversed females don't spray pollen as males do, and reversing is even more 'safe' in that concern, but I in general don't care if the bud is seeded since its for personal consumption
