CapybaraProbioticTeam Hello!
To germinate these seeds, I decided to do it in jiffys (or peat pellets), since the substrate is infested with little bugs that, while beneficial, can eat a small seedling if they're hungry.
Regarding the procedure, the first step was to put the seeds in a glass of chlorine-free water in complete darkness, at 26ºC for 6 hours. Personally, I always use the glass of water to start germinating but not as the only method, as I believe it's inadequate in providing the minimum air that the seeds need and also, I find it more difficult to maintain the desired humidity.
The second step was to place the seeds in the previously hydrated peat pellets. I left them in a ventilated environment, at 26ºC. After 24 hours, the little ones started to appear.
The day I noted for the germination date was the day the cotyledons opened, and a few hours later I transplanted them to the final pot.
Any comments or suggestions are welcome!
Cheers!!

CapybaraProbioticTeam Hello!
This was the first week of vegetation. I start counting from the day the cotyledons opened up well, that is, from the day I commented on germination. The seedlings grew evenly during this week, as you can see in the photos, they have the same height and similar development.
Regarding the photoperiod, while the official information from FastBuds is that the strawberry strain grows well with 20/4 or more, they report that the CBD grows better with 18/6. I’m going to test it in the following weeks as I see fit, I’ll probably try a middle ground, 19/5.
It may seem strange that for a probiotic and organic cultivation I don’t have mulching on the soil, but we removed it to keep the "rolly-pollies" in check, which, while super beneficial, can end up destroying the seedlings if they get hungry.
The photos are from the last day of the week, day 7 (Monday 04/26/2021).
Any suggestions are welcome! Cheers!!

CapybaraProbioticTeam Hello!
This week the plants started to take more shape. The CBD is developing more slowly, showing signs of stress. Among the measures I plan to take are:
-Water less, as it seems the roots are not doing well.
-Lower the humidity even more.
-Set the photoperiod to 19/5.
Regarding watering, I did a watering at the beginning of the week with bioroots + Molasses + mycorrhizae. The rest of the week I watered with chlorine-free water.
As shown in the photos, I also did a foliar spray with a 100% organic product based on algae like Kelp, which is very beneficial for the plant.
The photos were taken on the last day of the week, Monday 03/05/2021. (Day 14). I hope you like them.
That's all for this week. Any suggestions are welcome!
Cheers!!

CapybaraProbioticTeam Hello!
This week I made several changes. First, I lowered the photoperiod to 19/5, which is more similar to what suits CBD best. Secondly, I practiced LST and defoliation on the magnificent Strawberry Pie. This consisted of several stages: the first, where I did the main bending of the plant with the help of a cardboard roll and the guides. Then, throughout the week, I was cutting satellite leaves that were blocking light to the lower branches. By the end of the week, I had to reposition a guide on the tip of the plant to bend the top part (the green string you see in the photo).
Regarding watering, nothing out of the ordinary. Once a week with the mentioned nutrients, and the rest of the week with chlorine-free water. I also did a foliar spray with the algae extract twice a week, but at a dilution of 1/1000.
The CBD looks much better compared to last week. I hope that by next week it will be fully recovered.
The photos were taken on the last day of the week, Monday 10/05/2021. (Day 21). I hope you like them.
That's all for this week. Any suggestions are welcome! 💪
Cheers!!

CapybaraProbioticTeam Hello!
This was the fourth week, and both plants are starting pre-flowering. This week, both strains underwent a light defoliation two days of the week. As you can see, I did an LST on the strawberry to guide the branches in the SCROG net, but not on the CBD, as I noticed this strain had a hard time getting started and I didn't want to stress it too much. Anyway, it’s clear that it’s picking up pace.
Regarding watering, I watered two days of the week with:
Day #2: seaweed extract
Day #6: seaweed extract + LABs.
If you compare with my other diaries, you'll see that I use a lot more nutrients (all homemade), but right now I'm out of stock on all of them since my last plant (Original Juan Herer) consumed all my preparations, and since most of the probiotic recipes I use are fermentations, they take time to make. 😞
That's all for this week, which ended on Monday 05/17/2021 (the photos are from that day). Any suggestions are welcome. 😅
Cheers!!

CapybaraProbioticTeam Hello!
This was the 5th week, and the first week of flowering, as you can see in the photo, the pistils started to appear in numbers. This week we did LST on several branches to distribute them in the scrog net. If you look at photos #3 and #4, you can see the structure of the Strawberry, which looks quite sturdy with a thick trunk. In the photos, the Stb seems a bit stressed, but I think it's because the day I took the photos was right after doing some heavy defoliation and LST on several branches, so it makes sense that it's like this.
Regarding the CBD, the trunk and branches are firm and thick. It adapted very well to the soil and looks really good.
As for watering, I watered two days a week:
Day #2: LABs + Organic Molasses
Day #5: LABs
This week ends on Monday 05/24/2021, and the photos are from that day. That's all for this week. Any suggestions are welcome!!
Cheers!!
