This is close to 10 days from germination. The weather is hot and cold, rainy and hot - so quite a mess. Night temps are in the 18-20Cs so i have been bringing her in at night and leaving her on a heating mat. In the day, when there is sun, she sits out in the sun. She will grow outdoors till my tent and light arrives.

She is coming along slowly. Ambient temperatures are all over the place and she is slightly less green than I expected. I will probably give her a super light feeding with the next watering if the soil mixture shows signs of drying up.

Ive moved her into the tent and waiting for her to establish more nodes before i top her. I will feed her some diluted seaweed extract. Once i transplant her to the big pot, i will top dress to feed. My attempt is to go 100% organic on this trial run.

I have been giving her water once a day as she drinks fast. I noticed some deficiency as well as some signs of overwatering. The bottom leaves are paler which i automatically diagnosed as nitrogen deficiency. Since i’m giving her a defoliation when topping, i’ll keep an eye daily. I’m dialling back the watering this week to alternate days and will feed her towards the weekend. I’m waiting on some worm castings so that i can use them at time of transplant. I will top her on the weekend to get her ready for transplant in a couple of days after (i’m targeting June 1st). She will go into an 18ltr fabric pot at the end of May.

I had been looking to feed her and finally went with a weak solution of seaweed extract and tap water. My tap water stays out for 24-48hrs and the PH is usually in the range of 7. I bring it down with apple cider vinegar to 6-6.3. I cant explain the nute burn like signs (please drop a comment if you can guide me). The transplant and less watering seem like they’re helping. Since the new leaves are healthy, i’ll not worry much for the browning leaf and as it is, it will get lopped when i top/defoliate next. I have been waiting on some worm castings which never turned up. I will top dress the soil when they arrive. Till then, i will water with diluted seaweed extract.

This was an intensive week and even more so by my overzealousness with HST. She rebounded great from the deficiency only for me to snap one of her stalks while bending her. I gave her a few days and lots of water mists as well as some aloe vera gel to the wound but she would not heal. I assumed she would not need tape and in hindsight, I should have done that to save 50% of my expected crop. I cut my losses... and rid the stem to let her focus her energy on the remaining stalk. I topped her on Wednesday and so far she has had one two feedings and one plain watering. The feeding is 5ltrs of tap water that sat outside for a few days mixed with 10ml organic seaweed fertiliser (a chap down by the coast makes it in his yard) and 1tbsp epsom salts. The PH comes off as 7 and I use apple cider vinegar to bring it to 6.3-6.5. I added the following to the topsoil this week: - 5 tbsp worm castings - 1 tbsp bone meal - 1 tsp organic soil conditioner (made from cold pressed seed cakes) Other than that, I have just been letting her heal while my camel performs night duty.

This week, I kept an eye out to make sure she heals from my exuberance on her foliage and just waiting for her to fill out so I can train more stems. Sun 13/06 Fed her 1ltr from a solution of 10ml seaweed extract in 5ltrs of water coming in at PH 6.3 and just gave her time to recover Mon 14/06 She was snoozing and so was I Tue 15/06 I made a topsoil mix with equal parts cococoir and worm castings mixed with 5 table spoons each of organic soil improver and crushed bone meal. I added about a cup into the top soil and gave her plain water of PH 6.5 Wed 16/06 I gave the soil a little light turning over and smoothened it out. I just her do her thing. Thur 17/06 She was just chilling and enjoying the breeze but my impatience was biting. I changed the light schedule from 18/6 to 20/4 in a bid to spur growth. Fri 18/06 She was filling out well. I trained her ever so lightly and she responded well. She also didnt look like she needed water. Sat 19/06 I got drunk and lost my phone on Friday night, so I didn't get any photos on Saturday but neither did I give her any attention as I was too busy trying to get reunited with my phone (which I did eventually). Sun 20/06 Apart for removing one fan leaf and pinning her down a little (snigger), not much to do. I fed her 1ltr from a solution of 10ml seaweed extract in 5ltrs of water PH coming to 6.5

This week was super smooth and easy going. A little BDSM, errr pinning down her arms and new leaves, and watering when she looked thirsty. The 50% limb loss is quite apparent on how it os going to affect my harvest - I just gotta suck it up. I am thinking of flipping to flower in this coming week as the other girls (Lemon Haze) in the tent get more shoots from their mainline. 21/06 Mon No action and she was still well fed from the last feeding/watering 22/06 Tue More pinning and a couple of fan leaves removed 23/06 Wed The soil was dry to touch but the pot felt heavy so I skipped watering her today 24/06 Thur I gave her a feeding of blitzed aloe vera leaves and water (i need to document this shit) 25/06 Fri I pushed the SF4000 lights from 60% power to 100% and did some defoliation on everything that was growing downwards. 26/06 Sat She looked a little dull but not droopy. I gave her a foliar feed of 10ml seaweed extract diluted in 10ltr of water. I did not PH this - should I have?

The second vaccine took it all out of me. I barely managed a 2hr walk before I could not carry on anymore. I have spent most of my time horizontally this week. I was unable to water the girls and thankfully had one of my helpers over. These shots are all from Tuesday when they were fed plain PHd water with epsom salts. I am up, out and about today and looking forward to some TLC that will carry me into next week.

This week I performed the last of the heavy defoliation before I let her rest up for a week. She got some HEAVY training too as I ready her for flowering. I want to veg her for one more week from today. Sun 4/7 I got some me-time with her and gave her a good caress. She didn't look thirsty and the pot felt heavy - she drinks water less than all the other plants despite having the thickest stems. Mon 5/7 I gave her 1 cup full of top dressing. I made it with equal parts organic soil improver (made from seed cake and humate powder), crushed bones, worm castings and cocopeat+perlite mixed with some ash from my barbecue. She also got a good watering of 1ltr plain water to help the top dressing settle. Tue 6/7 I removed some of the fan leaves from the bottom and tightened her training cables to pull her more inwards to the centre of the pot Wed 7/7 I let her recover from the previous days activities as she had some pending training. I gave her a splash of water - about 1/3 of what I usually give her. It was PHd to 7.0 with some Apple Cider vinegar to allow for some Calcium and Magnesium uptake. Thu 8/7 She was bouncing back so i thinned out some more stalks and leaves and started weaving her limbs to get her mainline away from one side. She got some more pulling on her lines ever so gently. Fri 9/7 All limbs seemed to be recovering from the heavy weaving and she looked great. Sat 10/07 Despite only giving her 1/3 of her water dosing in the week, her pot was still quite heavy and the leaves showed no signs of thirst. Either the roots may have compounded or I am not gauging her right. Seeing her thick stems, I do wish I had not lost her other arm. For unknown genetics of a hermaphrodite mother, she is quite robust. I gave her a watering of the regular quantity of 1ltr either way and will see how the pot feels in 3 days. Now the calm before the storm as this week I only want her to fill out and settle. I will look out for any undergrowth to pull out as I do not want to disturb her at all in flowering.

This was an easy sailing week. I even went away for 3 days as I waited for her to fill out. Sun 11/07 I pulled back some stems and let her be Mon 12/07 Apart for a few gentle caresses, nothing much happened Tue 13/07 I peeked in on her and she was swaying in the breeze Wed 14/07 Her pot was feeling a lot lighter and I chose to push her till her leaves droop before I water her Thu 15/07 I was leaving on an impromptu Molly charged weekend for a puddle of cuddles and proactively gave her 1ltr PH 7 water as I left the house. I guess we'll both be hydrated. Friday 16/07 👽 Sat 17/07 👽 Sun 18/07 When i got back, she looked great despite the top inch of soil being bone dry. Since I am flipping to 12:12, I gave her plain water PH 6.5 and called it a week

This was her first week of flowering and it was the least amount of handling from me. Her dark period is 8am to 8pm and lights are on 8pm to 8am. Mon 19/07 Day 1 flowering. She wasn't thirsty and I let her be Tue 20/07 The top soil was still damp and I skipped watering again Wed 21/07 I gave her a splash of water out of paranoia of not having fed her for 2 days. Plus I was leaving town till Friday evening and didn't want to come back to a overly thirsty plant Thu 22/07 I was away Fri 23/07 I gave her a quick look when I got back and she had grown a total of 5" in the last week. I fed her 1 ltr of water ph of 6.8 with epsom salts Sat 24/07 I prepared a top dressing for her that contained: 40% cocopeat/perlite mix, 10% humate powder, 10% bonemeal, 20% organic soil improver and 20% worm castings. I was to add this and water her today and since she didn't look or feel thirsty, I planned this for the next day Sun 25/07 In the morning, her pot was still heavy and the soil was pretty compacted - I am suspecting some issues at root level as this is quite slow water uptake during flowering. I am also going to read up about VPD as I am currently running the exhaust on full to acquire RH below 50%. I have skipped both watering and top dressing for Week 2 of flowering that begins on Mon 26/07 I intend to defoliate, top dress and water on Monday and then only focus on watering her.

This was her second week of flowering and I kept true to my word, I did not bend, pull, pluck or twist her in any way, shape or form. Mon 26/07 I defoliated her to give some of the lower bud sites more light. I have seen a lot of my follow now that she is flowering in terms of branch training. Tue 27/07 I let her recover from the previous day's work and gave her some PH 6.8 water Wed 28/07 Her flowers are showing but not quite popping. Her soil is also quite compacted and she doesn't seem to drink much water - the pot was heavy so i skipped watering. Thu 29/07 Apart for a quick look-see to check temp/humidity, she did not get much attention Fri 30/07 I found a way to set up a flushing station. I ran 5ltrs of aged tap-water PHd to 6.6 using buffered PotPhos liquid (NPK 0:50:30). Posing a question on the forum here, it seems i will still require one more flush. Sat 31/07 Since the flushing also added water, I skipped watering and just gave her a cursory look Sun 01/08 I see a few white hairs though there hasn't been an explosive growth as I expected based on many diaries. I am now left to hope that another flush will help. All in all, a quiet week with close to no involvement from me. In this coming week, aside for one more flush I will also take her height measurements to see how much she has grown since the switch to 12:12

She seems to be drinking her pot dry every 3rd day. So while I contemplate another proper flush, I went away on a short break leaving my niece to look after the plants. She was watered with water PH 5.5 that had some epsom salts in it every 3rd day. I am looking for manufactured CalMag liquid and will be adding that to the watering regime once I acquire it. Mon 02/08 I kissed her goodbye and went away Tue 03/08 She got water with epsom salts PH at 5.5 Wed 04/08 No report Thu 05/08 No report Fri 06/08 She got water with epsom salts PH at 5.5 but 1ltr as opposed to 2ltrs that she usually gets Sat 07/08 No report Sun 08/08 No report I took some time away since she was only getting water this week and I have nought to report aside for the pics and watering days.

I cant pin down what it is but she seems to have a strange bud development. Between assuming she is a he or that she is a hermaphrodite, I am my wits end. I have decided to tend for her now and only cull her if I am 100% sure its a male. This week involved defoliation and then just letting her recover until the end of the week when I flushed her. She showed some Nitrogen toxicity as well as nute lock for sure. Mon 16/08 She got her salon day and after a nice trim, she was showing off her sexy limbs Tue 17/08 No action Wed 18/08 Chill day Thu 19/08 She got a plain watering Fri 20/08 No action Sat 21/08 No action Sun 22/08 She got a flushing with water PH of 5.6 (dechlorinated tap water + apple cider vinegar) and the run off was 6.8 (and TDS of 1,390). It seems that she could do with one more flush and I dont know if that will be possible for another week. Despite the weird bud structure, I intend to not take any action till i am sure what it is. I have drawn a map for where the pots sit and apart for 3, I will be returning them in the same spot for fear that the weird growth is re-vegging due to a light leak (this Spider Farmer tent has light leaks all over the zippers and observation window velcro). I have added a fan in the tent and some calcium chloride to bring the RH down but to no avail. I intend to starve her for 3-4 days and then give her a feeding along with a watering. Onwards!

She has not progressed much from the bulbous growth stage. I am pensive and at this stage focussing on documenting her and checking back daily. The other girls in the tent with a similar bulbous growth have started growing white pistils and I'm keeping my hopes up on her. Mon 23/08 Observation only Tue 24/08 Noted that her pot was still super heavy and the soil damp. Humidity has been an issue and I am using Calcium Chloride baths in the tent to keep it below 50% Wed 25/08 Observation only Thu 26/08 Gave her a splash of plain water Fri 27/08 Observation only Sat 28/08 I gave her a feeding with some store nutrients and kept the Nitrogen as low as possible in case she has revegged from a Nitrogen toxicity Sun 29/08 Observation only I will continue remaining patient to see if she continues her flower cycle. My heart is heavy and I remain hopeful.

Another week of being patient and watching. I think I see what seem to be signs of pistils in her lower branches. Since she is far in the back of the tent and the other girls are flowering heavily, i will pull her out next week to double confirm. For now, I believe she re-vegged. I got some dolomitic lime and made a solution which I fed her towards the end of the week. Mon 30/08 She had not changed one bit from the previous week. No new growth, no new empty buds, nothing. Tue 31/08 Nothing to report Wed 01/09 Nothing to report Thu 02/09 Nothing to report Fri 03/09 I gave her a watering with dolomitic lime and water solution Sat 04/09 I was away Sun 05/09 I was away Seeing that the other girls that suffered her plight eventually started sprouting pistils and trichomes, I am confident this has neither hermied nor showing signs of male. I am going to give her two more weeks before I decide to let her go or not.

A friend invited me over for help with his harvest. His plant was almost 5ft tall and had dense nugs about the size of my wrists. It was grown on his balcony and I tried sprouting some of the seeds. 1 out of 4 succeeded and since he cant remember the name of the original seed, he has titled it HAPPY DAZE. This is to pass time and get used to my SF tent and lights as I await for good genetic seeds to arrive from DP.

Hold your own? @@TenderBuds You’re rocking it! Your humour is refreshing, and better yet, you tolerate mine! Sams are pretty cool if I may say so myself. 😉

@@GrandpaSam, I bet you are! That’s ok, I’m not seasoned enough yet to be a grandparent. But I do have a Sam, and he’s pretty cool. But I’ll still banter with you, even if I’m not able to hold my own. 🤷‍♀️🏻💃🏻

@Mrs_Larimar, negative. Ambient temperatures are 18-20C where i am. The tent being in my bedroom is maintaining the mid 20s. The humidity is another story - I'm balancing it out with a humidifier inside the tent and a large bucket filled with calcium chloride in the corner of my room. The humidity is a serious struggle. Also, your grows are inspirational.
