so i've been reading about how plant roots improve soil health...more microbes, better texture, terpenoid responses etc etc...and thinkin' the weed barrier used last year was just a dumb idea all around and a more natural environment is best. so gonna let stuff grow for the most part or they can be cut which is good for the soil too (dead roots=organic matter)
