One last week of flowering with nutrients added more PK boost this weekand it will be flush next week for 4 to 5 days before harvest . Hopefully she will be more trichromes and denser buds .
The Trichromes are in milky 90 percent and 10 percent crystal .
Hey @WhiteHeaven! Glad to see others doing hydro! How are you getting yours to grow so quickly in the first couple of weeks? I'm top feeding for about 5 minutes every 2 hours. I started at 15 minutes, but the plants seemed to be getting droopy -- I figured it was too much. Yours looks like it's flying on week 2! Any tips? Once I get to like week 3, they take off. How are you starting your seeds? I'm throwing them right in the DWC bucket, in a rapid rooter, and 3-7 days later they pop. Would be interested in hearing about your technique. Good work so far and good luck with the grow, brother!
@WhiteHeaven, so you just did a little foliar spray of straight up RO water? I've never heard of that but would love to try it! Anything to pick up the pace the first couple of weeks.
I did top the nutrients level to 550ppm at the moment to maintain the ph swings. p.h level jump around 5.8 to 6.1. As long it didn't show any nutrients burn I think should be fine .
Thanks for the advice . I'm using liquid oxygen and air bubble to prevent roots rot. Not easy to keep the solution under 70. At the moment no roots rot sign been seen .
Good luck. Lots of help available on here for first timer. She looks great. One observation though you list hydro and I see net pots but is your nutrient solution 77F? If so how are you preventing root rot? I’m not familiar with the nutrient line you are using. Generally we keep the nutrient solution between 62 and 68F.
@Tazard, I've always related this to cars -- cold air intakes work, if I am correct, because there are more oxygen molecules in colder air than warmer. To what extent can the roots handle it? I remember seeing once someone brought their root temp way down, in the high 40's if I recall correctly. Just about everyone else has said 60 is the lowest. I don't have a chiller to really test this, so I'm just following these guidelines. One thing that comes to mind is that I read elsewhere that 60 is the lowest for germinating. Perhaps this carries over to roots in general??
@WhiteHeaven, well yes, you need a harvest. That first one is the only one considered for the newbie grow. After that you can try for some of the other ones. Check the giveaways link to see what they are.
@WhiteHeaven just got my scope in, same as you for this week, 90% milky, 10% clear. I'm guessing 1 more week. I have been flushing her already, but I am being patient. The thing with my grow is you can't see the huge buds as they are all tucked back in the box. I had to supercrop a few to move them away from the light. Can't wait to see your finish!!!!!!
