On the 18th i moved them to the rdwc system, which may have been a day or two late as there was quite a bit of stretch. Using an hlg 100 while my meijius come in from China. So far they love it!
The leaves are looking a bit light green, wondering if i should be worried about it! I bought a better ph meter to make sure ph isn’t too crazy, but open to other suggestions. Also moved the light a bit closer to prevent additional stretch
Do you fertilize yet? and what distance is your light now? and the ph says what now? 😀
As for when to start using fertilizers, a good rule of thumb is to start using them when your plant begins to grow its first true leaves.
So, once you see the second set of leaves, the true leaves, you can use a diluted fertilizer until the plant gets bigger.
So far smooth sailing! Got a ph meter and the strips i had were way off. Ph was close to 8, and adjusted down since the tap water here is soft, but basic😅
I went on vacation for two weeks, and let the plants in an automated fashion. Have people to check on them, and had some chronic group issues. Decided to add two more air stones, to see if that would help. I think overall since the pH was a bit high that was causing the drip, change the razz with a lower pH, and things look like they’re back to normal growth! Planning to flip the flower wants to nodes emerge on the top plant, and I can fim them
