growp0txi GERMINATION METHOD:
This is the germination method I usually use, and I can say it's almost foolproof, plus it's simple.
- The first step is to soak the seed for 24 hours in a cup of water with a pH of about 6 - 6.5; this will help break the seed's dormancy.
- The next day, you may notice that the seed coat darkens and its "patterns" start to disappear. Sometimes the seed has already cracked and the radicle is pointing out (pure life *-*).
- Then I take a "ziplock" bag (preferably a large one) and place the seed along with a paper towel dampened with the same water I soaked the seed in, which has the ideal pH. However, don't put all the water on the paper towel, just enough to moisten it.
- Within 48 to 60 hours, the seed will be showing the radicle and ready to go into the substrate.
PS: I used images from another grow where I used the same germination method because I forgot to take photos of the germination process for this Pineapple Express, but since it was practically identical, I'm using these images to illustrate.
Date 1 (seed in water): 09/05.
Date 2 (seed in soil): 13/05.
Date 3 (seed out of soil): 16/05. The date it showed the cotyledons. 🙌

growp0txi WEEK 2: 05/16 to 05/22
On 05/19 I introduced the Bio Bokashi but I didn't measure the pH before watering (it wasn't foliar, as the label recommends, because the plant still has tiny leaves), when I measured the pH of the solution it was at 4.5 D:
But the plant reacted well, even with such an acidic pH.
