First week since seed and all popped and are looking healthy. Veg state taking place now. Planning on getting them nice and healthy into veg before hardening off. No problems so far.
Week number 2 from seed. They started to stretch a bit. Gals are taking off strong, had to add another light to the indoor greenhouse.
They start going outside tomorrow. Hardening off process begins and hopefully full
Time outdoors in 7 days.
Dutch passion autos are insane! These gals are ripping very fast. Heat wave came so I have been keeping em indoors during the day and out over night. Full time outdoors in 3 days.
Transplant did not go well! But it seems to not be overly stressed. It’s been raining non stop and today after these pics it looks sad. We shall see what happens.
The week was wild. We went from 35 Celsius down to 18 . And at night it got down to 5. So the gals showed a calcium deficiency due to stress I think. I started calmag and so far so good. One blackberry hated the transplant and the other loved it. The Auto ultimate is the real hero here, just rapidly exploding. Let’s hope for no more 70k winds and no more hail lol.
This week the gals have been ripping along nicely! All nutes are top dress aside from a weekly dose of the micro and the plants responded well. There is a blackberry that decided to flower this week, but the rest are still in veg. Some bug problems on the lower leaves, but that comes with growing outdoors. Happy growing all!
It’s been so hot! 30-40 Celsius throughout the week. The gals have been responding very well, and require a ton of watering and misting during the heat wave. Although Sk. didnt get it bad like BC, it was still very hot in central Canada this week. I’m hoping they all flower this week. One blackberry is in flower. Happy growing everyone.
All of the Dutch Passion gals are in flower. I added their nutes, which is bud juice bloom for the purple bberry.
The tall bberry is in bud mud from here in Saskatchewan which doesn’t require nutrients. And honestly has out performed any other nutrients so far.
The Ultimate is 34” tall and starting to bush out. I moved it because I’m getting it into a spot the gets an extra hour or two of direct sunlight.
The girls are smelling fine and the stretch is on!!!!! Happy growing all!
The ultimate and tall bberry are over 45” and drinking 4 litres a day. The small bberry is doing about half of that. Things are starting to look real nice. Trichomes coming in on all plants and the smell is starting to increase.
It’s been over 30 degrees Celsius the past 7 days and the gals are loving it. The forest fire smoke is actually keeping it half decent in the backyard. In the past 24 hours my bberry grew 2”. I hope these all make it.
Been super busy at work so I snapped some quick photos. It’s been very hot but there were some days of heavy smoke cover to give us temps in the mid 20’s which was nice. The plants all love the heat and are thriving. I’m having bug problems with the super purple blackberry. I’m thinking it’ll get chopped down in a couple weeks. The other two will be a month or so methinks.
It’s been a busy and hot couple weeks here. Skipped a week but we are back at it! The dark purple girl is currently getting flushed and will be taken down in a week. It has all milky trichomes and 1 amber here and there.
The blackberry smells very floral and almost spicy. I have never smelled weed like this before and I am very excited to try it. 2 totally different phenos, one of them being very short, airy, and dark purple. The other is very tall and a nice light purple. But they smell identical.
The Ultimate is beautiful. I love the smell of it it. Classic skunky smell, piney and a little bit of citrus. The colas are starting to double in size each week. I’m excited to see what I can yeild out of this thing!
Happy growing. 💨
This week was normal weather which was nice for a change. Smaller bberry finished up and is now hanging in my garage and will be trimming today. It’s the weirdest dope plant ever. Scraggly “buds” and not much on there. Going to make it all into bubble hash. My friend had the same thing happen to him. So 2 out of 3 blackberries were total garbage but they look cool lol. The ultimate seems to be doubling every few days so I hammered it with nutes. I’ve been having a terrible time keeping thrips at bay but I think 2 more weeks and we’re harvesting! Big bberry smells amazing and the ultimate has that classic BC Big Bud smell from the early 00’s. Awesome strain!
2 out of 3 remain! I hacked down the old scraggly looking bberry and will be making it into hash. Ended up getting 2 ounces of the weirdest weed I’ve seen.
As for the remainder of the gals. The ultimate has turned purple and the bberry started flushing Monday and will come down Sunday. The Ultimate comes down Wednesday or sooner depending on trichomes.
Organic nutrients were strong so I’m using Flawless Finish as insurance. I’m excited for the beginning of the end. I’ll be back in a couple weeks with weights and pics. Overall, very happy so far with the ultimate. Unsure if I’ll ever gamble on bberry again.
This bud smells the best. Very floral and sweet, like nothing else I’ve ever tried. Tastes supreme and very smooth. This is my bedtime snack, and it’s a very nighttime strain. I smoked a bowl last night at 9 and was snoring by 930.
This strain is pretty all over the map. I don’t think it’s quite ready or developed enough. We grew all 3 and only 1 produced typical buds. The other two plants were scraggly and yeilded 2 ounces each. Buuuuuuut the one that grew properly yielded 144 grams of preemo buds. So gamble if you must, because the rewards are worth it.
This mahfaq grew like a sonnofabitch. I couldn’t believe it. Yeilded 135 grams, and produced some nice buds. Nice buzzing high, and the flower tastes pretty damn good. Classic piney BC big bud flavour with hints of citrus. Daytime high, and it’s light in thc compared to the photos I’ve grown. Autoflowers will continue to remain outdoors only for me as the photos I’ve grown are much higher quality.
Grew well outdoors and would recommend to keep this puppy outside. My friend did an indoor of this and it yielded 9 ounces. So she loves to party and inhales nutrients. Average quality (compared to Californian or BC bud), incredible yield.
