Started off the germanation in a glass of water for 12h , then placed them in a damp paper towel for 24h. Planted them in a mix of Kryptonite organic soil, promix & perlite. Covered them with seran wrap for the first 24h or so. 100% germanation success & all 4 broke the soil the next day. Almost 5 days old now & evolving nicely. So far a slight advantage to the Gelato auto but the Gelato glue isn't far behind
Getting a few more leaves, got them in the window with a 50w lamp. Was gonna move them.to.my 300w led but going so good I'm gonna leave them there for a few days more. Might grow them indoors not decided yet. Still a few weeks before they head out if they go
Maturing nicely, the Gelato are bigger than the Gelato glue but not by that much. Gonna transplant tomorrow. I know you're not supposed to or not recommended but I just gotta try it. Gonna be gentle. Going in 2 5gallon bags , 1 in a 5gallon pot & one in a 7gallon bag
Going good transplant 5days ago. They took off right away. The Gelato are taller but the Gelato glue are thicker. Just did the first training lst is what I did. Just put them under 2x1000 led lights in the 4x4 tent. Gonna try to put my new led light this weekend
Going good, much better than last crop of gorilla glue autoflowers. Found a bit of powdery mold, cut the worst leaves off & gonna give the rest of them a soaking tonight before lights go out with milk & water mix. Thinking of putting another fan on them. Showing signs that the flowering is about to start soon. Just put my new light in. So far they responded nicely & the light seems to be awesome. Much better coverage everywhere. The Gelato are taller & bigger but the Gelato glue is thicker. So far I like both of them
Going good, a bit of powdery mold but sprayed it with milk, water & Epsom salt. Seemed to do the job against the mold but developed a few fruit flies. Placed a few bold of apples cider vinegar covetd it with plastic & poke a few holes in them. Pets hope it does the trick
Going & growing nicely. Had a few bugs crawling I'm the soil & a few flying around. Got the sticky tape & tea bags from the local hydroponic shop. Seems to be controlling the situation so far. The Gelato are still bigger than the Gelato glue but both are growing better than the gorilla glue #4 autoflower that I had last crop
Still having a bit of problems with powdery mildew. Gonna ask the question to the group. Hopefully they'll gave me the magic pill. Maturing nicely besides that.
Gelato auto 4x4 tent. Tempe 78 & humidity 57%. Had a problem 4weeks in whit powdery mildew. Sprayed it with water 80% , milk 20% & a pinch of Epsom salt. Did it for 5nights out of 6. After a few weeks mildew free,The mildew is back at flowering stage what should I do?
I like a massive breeze for my plants.....in the veg stage it helps strengthen the stems/branches and in flower it helps with mold. You want as much air circulating as possible.
Going good got rid of the powdery mold problem with coppergrow. With this added I'm sure next crop will be powdery moldless. Works awesome & plants seem to like it. The Gelato are way bigger but not as advanced as the Gelato glue. Gelato glue starting to be covered with trichomes & getting fat. So far the easiest as been in the plastic 5gallon pot & the 7gallon fabric pot isn't doing better. Will see at the end who wins but I'm definitely gonna try a mix if pots for a few more tries to see which I love the best. I'm getting my microscope within the next few days to keep track of their progress
Went pretty good. The copper gro did the job but burned a few leaves last application. Might of been my fault I soaked them more than usual. The Gelato are bigger but the Gelato glue are more advanced. The Gelato in the 5 gallon fabric pot dried out & quite a leaves turned yellow but she's still going strong. Trichomes are Starting to cloud up & a few Amber's popping up. Another week should be close to cut a few. Can't wait to try it, she's starting to smell nice.
Good week , no issues to report. The Gelato glue are almost there. Starting to see a few amber ones & 90% 9f the rest are cloudy. The 5gallon are fatter & a bit more advanced than the 7gallon one. The Gelato are bigger but are a few weeks behind. The plastic pot stayed wetter and is more leafy than the fabric one. Still to early to say which will produce more or better buds
Cut a bit earlier than usual. Trying to figure out the trichomes. So far I do believe it's a success. Awesome daytime buzz. Energetic , talkative & happy.
First cut was a few days ago, cut one of the Gelato glue. Cut it a bit earlier than usual with just a bit of amber trichomes. New at trichomes ,trying it to see a difference gonna let the other one get to over 50% amber. Good smooth smoke with the first one & definitely not a couch lock but gets you stone for a few hours. The Gelato are bigger and still a few weeks behind but maturing nicely
Awesome smoke , the second plant stayed about a week more & its more of a couch lock but not too much. Almost best of both worlds I'd say. The last 2 are Gelato auto left it another 10days. About 2oz per plant I'd say not done curing at the moment
Beautiful plant to grow & super smooth smoke. Grew better in the 5gallon than the 7gallon but I think I'm gonna try it again just concentrate on more water
