For the record this journal is a week ahead of what the plants are. If I could have just changed the week, I would have. Unfortunately they make you redo everything. So, yeah, keep that in mind.
Old Jack 47 didn't seem to be doing jack so I went ahead and dropped another one. I put the original into my flood and drain system and believe it or not, it is actually growing now. It looks a little funky and is definitely stunted but with any luck it will at least be one big ass bud.🤞
So... that original Jack is still moving slow but moving none the less.
The Sweet Gelato is being grown in soil and has been a good reminder of why I stopped growing in soil. It looks like I'm experiencing a magnesium deficiency. Yesterday, I ph'd to 6.5 and watered till runoff. The run-off came out at 5.0. I'm guessing a low PH cause the deficiency, IDK. Truth is, I'm okay with hydro and complete shiz with soil. If y'all have any thoughts feel free to chime in.
Hallelujah, dark devil has entered flowering!
The Sweet Gelato I watered at 7.0, runoff came out at 5.0. How do y'all soil growers get the PH in the right range?
I can't wait to see the original Jack 47 in the next couple weeks. It seems like it's starting to do its thing now. It's growth is mutated but it's growing so hey.
And as for the other Jack 47, as small as it is, roots are blasting out of its container. Yeah buddy!
Everything seems to be going smooth. Sweet Gelato has certainly taken a turn for the better. The original Jack 47 I started has definitely taken off and check that little sucker out, it's a freak of nature.
So what are you folks think is up with that original Jack 47 Auto and all the weird growth that's been happening. It looks like it topped itself and has a fan leaf growing right where the stock would be.
Hi there, I've seen alot of self topped plants here in question section.I think it's just her phenotype and she will be grown beautifully.Happy growing... ✌️
@Rock_n_Roll_Randy, the soil started as ocean Forest but for about 2 years it's been a compost pile. I did the whole red wiggler thing and through scraps in it during that time. Every once in awhile I would also throw some recharge in there along with down to earth Bio-Live.
As far as lighting, they're your typical LEDs nothing special. I moved the plant like a foot away just to take some pressure off of it. Within a couple hours it turned into a contortionist trying to get back to the light.
I didn't mention that I put Cal Mag in when I watered. I'm hoping it takes effect within the week.
I've got a knack for screwing the pooch in soil every time. It's like my Achilles heel!😝
