Whoops. Well, I've been pretty busy, so this journal kinda slipped my mind. I'll try to get back on it.
She's had problems with the earwigs, so I started using diatomaceous earth and earwig traps to fight them. They helped a lot, though we've had enough rain that the de has to be replaced pretty frequently. I also added a stake as the wind was too intense and she was permanently knocked on her side until I got her upright.
The pic above was from the end of week 6, and it's the end of week 7 in a couple of days.
Don't really know/remember anything else to add.
Good luck with bugs, dude that is hard to grow out there for real, bugs are too intense, need a lot of caring plus good stuff anti bugs, wish you the best growmie
@Siriuz, Thanks! This is the first year I've had a real problem with them. I think it's because it warmed up so fast an early this year. Got a handle on them now though, diatomaceous earth and earwig traps.
The diatomaceous earth should do the trick...i put it around outdoor and inside my tents and greenhouse before each grow even,, it isnt totally 100% going to keep everything away always,,but it does work and sure wont hurt em...hope it works out for you,,,good luck...
@Jack_the_Mighty, right on...glad its helping...like i said earlier,,i use it before an issue starts,,keeps things down to a minimum if nothing else and usually stops/kills most before if starts damage...good luck..enjoy.
@spyder, Thanks, yeah it's helping a lot, as are the earwig traps. First time I've had to deal with this much damage to such a young plant, but she's doing a lot better now.
