Cape_BretonGrows As were are still in the month of May here in Canada, specifically in the North East Cape Breton Island we must patiently wait to put our crops out. But I've started to work the soil with a top dress of organic Sheeps manure compost and black Earth.
I will start the germination process indoor this week to ensure a solid root structure can be developed and slowly introduce her to the sun as we work up to in ground and full sunshine.

Cape_BretonGrows Unfortunately out friends here at Grow Diaries don't allow for mid week updates.
So you're all aware this is still germination period. Seed went into soil today May 27th, she will have indoor growth until approximately June 10th at which point she will be moved outside.
The soil is resting with another top dress of Sheep manure and organic black earth. The fields between each grow have been covered with cover crop and covered over to allow for natural soil regeneration.
This Is not only a lesson in Cannabis, but a diary about how to work your soils and earth.

Cape_BretonGrows We have our girl poking her way through. We are May 30th, she will have 10 days more indoor before being thrust into her soil for her outdoor grow as of June 10th. Hope she develops some strong root structure in that time.

Cape_BretonGrows This week we have decided to test our luck. We want to take a few notes on getting seeds started outside. The weather is cooperating and the nights warmer. Let hope this little seedling is ready to get out and grow.

Cape_BretonGrows This girl is just adjusting slowly to her transplant to outdoor life. She handled the light well but it's been very chilly nights still so a little slow to grow, but I am just happy to see her still happy. Onwards and upwards

Cape_BretonGrows This lovely young lady has finally made her roots deep into the outdoor soil and with lots of sunshine, hotter days, and high humidity she is starting to stretch.
I've loved every @fastbuds_genetics strain to this point and now it's time to see how they perform outdoor direct to soil.
