Started the first germination week with this Sour Diesel Auto seed purchased from semillasbaratas.com by using the paper towel method. Note that for this diary, I will be counting the plant age by days since seed, so the pictures posted on this week are from Day "0". As you can see in the week pictures I'm running a whole grow cost analysis in order to get a final €/g and $/g value, and you can correctly guess that I will probably experiment with a low cost setup, so if you are interested in seeing the results of a low budget grow like this one don't hesitate to follow this diary! Most of the items I'm using I already had them but I put them in the table just to get a more fair analysis that everybody can replicate. No need to mention that if I purchase any item or add any cost to the setup I will update and post the new table picture. I'm still deciding which lightning I will use on this plant, but it will probably be either between greenhouse/direct sunlight outdoors and a 60W LED indoor setup I want to experiment with in order to prove its efficiency.

Hi, I was wondering if I could set my seed inside this pot without making holes in its bottom and sides since it was sold like this. It is made of a cardboard-like paste and I don't know if it could help with drainage after watering my seedling during the first weeks.

I would. Even though the pot is permeable seedlings often suffer from over watering. So I’d poke 6-8 holes in the bottom with a screwdriver or something like that. And unless it’s going in the soil outside where worms and such would eat it I wouldn’t plant seedling in the pot as it will not decompose fast if there isn’t anything to eat it. Happy Growing and good luck!👍

Started this week with the little seedling set on a windowsill to get some warm sunlight, but I'll switch to 18/6 LEDs along the week. I'll probably start feeding with Biobizz around week 2 of veg, as their calendar recommends. As you can see in the pictures, I noticed the plant growing its second pair of true leaves twisted, and after researching on it I found that it could be related to some light excess problem. I then tested the light intensity for the plant in its setup at that moment and it was receiving around 50.000 lux, which is even more than the recommended for veg stage, so I removed four of the 11W bulbs and I'm now getting a roughly 7.000 lux value with 12W at the distance I have it set, which is a pretty standard value for clones and seedlings. I really hope this solves the problem and the plant can continue to grow healthy. This week I finally transplanted the little seedling into its final 11L fabric pot.

The seedling is now about 3cm tall and wide. Should I wait some time before transplanting it to its final pot or can I already do it so it starts expanding its roots wider?

I would be tempted to in a few days. Saying that I forgot the name of the cup thing u growing in but I used to use them and I cut a hole out the bottom and when I saw roots coming out I put it in my final container.

As you can see in my diary's pics, I have a problem with leaves twisting. I've already changed the light the seedling is receiving so that it receives around 5.000 lux of light intensity since I was getting 50.000 lux. Can this be related to the leaves twisting problem?

More like it is just getting use to its space. Right now roots grow very quick and leaves follow. Usually when the second set of leaves on my girls have a little wonky growth, the leaves turn out being very large on those plant. The ones that come out shaped perfect from the start, always are a smaller leaf it seems. I figure their just learning to grow, cuz the sets following always come out big and straight. Cheers

I won't start feeding her with Biobizz untill one or two weeks from now, since the soil I'm using is a pretty nute rich all-mix, so that could be an overkill for this little one.

The little plant looks healthy so far. At about day 25 it started preflowering, so it's getting ready for flowering stage soon, probably around week 6 or 7 since it has had some slow growth. I've started feeding her with Bio-Grow at day 26, with about 1.2L of watering volume each 3 days.

This whole week I will be feeding her with 1ml/l of Bio-Grow to see if she can start growing faster and wider. She had some stunted growth, I still don't know if due to genetics or some early stage stress, so this will probably turn into a NanoGrow. Next week will start the flowering stage, so I only want to see how much will it grow from now as an experiment. I will have to do the cost analysis thing in a future grow.

Well this plant was definitely a runt. Considering this, I decided to take outside and turn it into an outdoor grow to leave indoor space for more grows. I will be happy if I get 1 gram out of this unlucky one. I've stopped feeding her with nutes since the leaves' tips were burning but I will probably feed her some Bio-Bloom some weeks before flushing and harvesting.

The growth seems completely stunned this week, but the pistils keep on coming, so I won't complain with this runt grow. Let's just see how it ends up.

The growth is definitely stunned but the buds keep growing, so whatever, we will see if it can yield a gram or two.

The plant is nearing harvest already, I expect to check on trichomes and decide when to chop it based on it.

I will proceed to harvest this little plant already, since the buds don't seem to be growing anymore these last weeks. I'm mainly interested in watching the whole root growth of this runt grow, since I expect it to be really little.

As you can see following the strain's diary and final results, this little runt plant was stunned from the beginning, but I decided to keep her for personal interest, or scientific purposes, you could say. The yield was expectedly practically unexistent, but I could at least try it in one really tasty and effectfull joint. Pretty much enjoyed this strain, and I really can't wait to grow it again, hopefully with a more lucky specimen.

As soon as I dry & cure this little runt I will update the final results and strain review. Really just wanted to see the final outcome of this bad mutation plant, so I won't complain about the insignificant grow. The root system was incredibly small, even more than expected, which was quite an interesting thing to see when I pulled it out. I'll have to grow this strain again with one of the seeds I still have left so I can get a good hold of this genetics out of this unlucky plant.
