Helloooo! I decided to share my first grow on here. 🌱
This is a windowsill experiment in a northern European climate. I'm not expecting a big yield but I'm excited to see what will happen if I just let the plants do their thing!
I am growing 2 royal dwarves. I'm using soil from the compost in my garden and regular tap water for now.
Enjoy :]
09.04 - Put the seeds into the soil
12.04 / Day 1 - Seedlings sprouted 🌱
19.04 / Day 8 - Pictures taken
Both seedlings have sprouted YAY!! They are stretching quite a bit because there is not much sunlight and I'm not using any grow lights but that is to be expected. 🌱
Btw for most of the conditions I'm merely guessing because I'm not really testing the air or water temperature.
26.04 / Day 14 - 🌱
27.04 - Adding a tiny amount of Bio-Grow (0.25 ml)
The seedlings are growing fine! Plant #2 seems to be struggling a lil and stretching quite a lot but we'll see.
03.05 / Day 21 - 🌱
I feel like they have grown a lot compared to last week! Again you can see #2 is a bit behind but they're looking healthy. Unfortunately it's quite cloudy :[ I make sure not to water them too much and just leave them alone for the most part.
11.05 / Day 29 - 🌱
Nothing significant happened this week, they keep on growing! I thought about doing some LST but decided against it because the plants are just too tall and I don't want to do anything wrong :0
18.05 / Day 36 - Flowering has started!, Added Bio-Bloom 🥦
Yaaaay! The flowering period has started!
You can see the little pistils forming and holy shiii they have grown a lootttt :0 I didn't expect them to get THAT tall granting the strain is called royal ''dwarf'' LOL. I hope they will start to become a bit fuller now instead of putting all their energy into vertical growth! There have been a few sunny days but overall it's still quite cloudy - I think it will be ok tho 👍
26.05 / Day 44 - Leaves and buds are growing 🥦
This week I had to relocate them to another room because the smell became quite strong, I think it smells amazing though - like citrus! The buds are getting bigger and bigger each day and I think they really like the nutrients. Considering that I have done the absolute bare minimum and we're only about half way through I'm very happy with the progress so far :]
31.05 / Day 49 - Adding 0,5ml Top-Max 🥦
This week the weather is good enough to put them outside on the balcony at daytime! ☀️ Plant #1 has started developing orange pistils and the buds are getting denser. #2 is not quite there yet :>
--------
Comparing to other growers' progresses I guess I'll harvest after week 12 for the best results. Plant #2 might need some more time tho we'll see. Patience is key, definitely 👌
07.06 / Day 56 - Repotted them 🥦
I decided to put them into bigger pots and it went well! This week has been terrible weather so they didn't get lots of sunlight.
Plant #2 suddenly started to have droopy leaves and some discoloration :( I decided to feed them just water for a few days! You can really tell there's a big difference between #1 and #2 even though I have treated them the exact same from the beginning. #1 is developing a lot of new branches and buds on the bottom yay!
I also picked a small bud from #2, dried it for 2 days and gave it a test smoke lol it definitely got me high for a while
17.06 / Day 66 - less nutrients 🥦
It's been getting extremely hot this week and I don't think the plants rlly like it but they're fine! Also cut down on the nutrients and don't use them every watering because of leaf discolouration. I don't see that big of a difference compared to last week. The leaves have been getting worse but the buds are getting bigger and that's what matters loll
Hi !
Good luck for your grow !
But i recommand to purchase a specialized soil , like biobizz all mix / light mix.
I've already tried a common soil, the plant had some difficults to grow and to flower.
Little yield, very sad ..
