First week outside. I have put my girls in a plastic greenhouse, cos it was quite cold for the end of May. Now temperatures are getting better. I have included an AK420 in this diary for comparison. So far both are doing well.
Training time! Need to control the plant height a little because of nosey neighbours. I wanted to LST both plants but was a little too harsh... So ended up topping the broken AK instead. 🤦 Hope at least the top makes a good clone. I know it's hell to be my plant. 😎
It's stormy weather now, glad to have my babies in the greenhouse... Other than that evyrything goes well, ladies are redponding very well to the training.
At last, I have put the CC in a larger pot... 32l and she likes it, a lot! The AK is flowering heavily and i see little hope she will create new branches. Otherwise, both plants are strong and healthy.
Couldn't update last week, so there are the girls after 2 weeks. Cream Caramel is developing just beautifully. 😍 Healthy, strong grow and perfect response to LST. AK420 is in full flowering mode so not much to do here. I suspect there was an error and this lady is an auto. Nonetheless, the AK420 smells sweet and the buds are sticky as hell. Just won't be a heavy yield I hoped for.
This should have been, according to the label, a photoperiodic strain, but was an auto instead. So the growth was not as expected and topping reduced the harvest heavily. Other than that a nice resinous sativa with complex sweet smell.
I was disappointed this was not a photoperiodic strain as should have been, because I trained it a lot and lost half of the harvest this way. I have dried it for 2 weeks and now cure it 2 weeks. 21 g pure buds + some sugar leaves. The smell is deep, complex and sweet. Like it a lot. But...
The weather is getting unusually cold. I fear the plant won't develop much more. But the smell is just beautiful. 👌 I have flushed it and will water it with just pure water now on.
So the temperatures will drop rapidly next week and the trichomes are nearly all milky so this lady is going to be harvested very soon. The buds are chunky and look delicious. The aroma is more lemony now. Pretty curious how it develops after curing.🍋💘
Love it! I can see why this is an award winning strain. In outdoor conditions far from ideal this beauty performed very well. Maybe this strain has not as many trichomes/cm2 as eg. Gorilla, but it makes up with the sturdiness, relatively early finishing (suitable for places with shorter summers) and especially with the captivating sweet scent. I'm pretty sure this is not the last time I cultivated this strain. Good job, Sweet Seeds! 👍
Well, this year was an unusually cloudy weather and the end of season was cold, so this plant had really subpar conditions. But early flowering saved a lot as in the end of September it was ready for harvest. It could use 2 more weeks or so to be even better, but it is pretty outstanding nonetheless. It was a plant with mutation - it had 3 cotyledons. But it was an advantage in the end, because the main cola is some 50 % more massive (each level has triplets of leaves branches and buds; branches are ordinary pairy). I cannot wait to try it, the scent is very tempting...
Looking good and progressing very nicely !! Good luck with the grow !
Please feel free to check out/show love on some of my recent grows (Tropicana cookiez/Venom OG/Banana Mango )
