At the point where I topped, there were 2 stems growing off. I was tying down one of the two stems, heard a snap 2 minutes later and it popped in half. Ended up cutting the rest of the stem off with a razer. Was left with 1 if the two stems growing off. Added in the net this week
Feeding at 1.2 ec of megacrop. At this point, the plant would start to get pretty droopy torward the end of it's light cycle. Thinking this is the best I can do with this 7 gallon pot. Flipped to flower on the next week
Grew through the first screen so I ended up throwing in another screen. Starting to stretch heavily! Trying my best to keep it tied down. Need to hit a defoliation, there are a lot of overlapping touching wet leaves. Watering about a gallon a day
Defoliated a bit and starting adding the bud explosion. Currently this is as high as my lights will go. I ordered some ratchet ropes to be able to hang it higher, they should be here tomorrow.
Started to get a little bit of nutrient burn. Going to stop adding bud explosion for this week. Next week I’m going to drop the megacrop by 25% and then start adding the bud explosion back in. Raised the lights back up to 24 inches away and dimmed up. Top buds are receiving 30,000 lux
The plant is not having any issues yet but I was checking the runoff PH. It's going in at under 6 and coming out at 7+. Ec has been fine, no buildup. Could it be the buffers in the coco loco? Is this an issue I should be worried about?
This is supposed to be a purple leaf strain but I realize some phenos will not be purple. What week in flower do plants normally start to turn purple. Is this one too late to turn purple?
If you’ve only been in flower for 5 weeks like you’re diary indicates - definitely no man it’s not too late. I’ve had purple strains hit in the last 10 days. Usually it’s like the last 2-3 weeks and flushing/ cold night time temps can help. But if it’s truly in her genes/phenotype - she’ll show ya some regardless of flush and cold temps.
I’ve noticed the super dark purples tho, you usually see signs within the first couple weeks of flower.
Not much to say this week. Still feeding the same amount. Looks like it might be starting to foxtail. It's really a bummer there is no purple yet, I grabbed this because I wanted a modern purple strain!
The leaves are getting yellowed and dying off pretty quickly. I have not started flushing. I’m going to ask a grow question. Hoping it will finish up soon, mostly clear/milky no amber
The yellowing leaves have definitely progressed quite a bit in this last week. Does this look like a normal natural late flower nitrogen deficiency? I still want to flush the plant, wondering if I should start the flush now because the leaves are already starting to get yellowed.
It's all fine, nice run, flush as scheduled, you are seeing the natural senescence. As we age our hair turns gray, plants turn yellow. You did a good job, enjoy it 👊👊👊
