By Saturday, May 29, they'd all popped up and had their cotyledon leaves and first set of real leaves coming in, so I turned on the second 630W CMH but also kept it raised all the way to the top of the tent. I did it almost at midnight, so I'm counting Sunday, May 30, as the start of veg (Wk 1, Day 1).
Hand watered on Monday, May 31 (Wk 1, Day 2), and tried to mound the soil up around the seedlings to straighten some of their stretch. All had at least one set of real leaves either finished or almost finished at that point.
By Wednesday, June 2 (Wk 1, Day 4) four out of the five plants had two full sets of real leaves and seemed like their main stalk was more sturdy and rooted. One Sour Diesel was lagging behind, having only just finished its first set of leaves, but it also seemed sturdier. Now that there seemed to be substantial growth happening in a short amount of time, I hooked up the AutoPot reservoir and lowered both lights to about 3 ft above the pots. To help with humidity and temperature, I turned on fans and added a swamp cooler. I'm using a 25 gal. reservoir for the AutoPots. I've had issues with the lines getting gunked up in the past because we have really hard well-water, so this time I also added z7 to keep the lines clear and some hydroguard to give the soil a little kick.
Thursday, June 3 (Wk 1, Day 5): Discovered that the evaporative cooler is not evaporating. None of the water has been used, and the tent is too hot and too dry. Tried a number of different fan/tent window combos to try to cool it down and raise the humidity.
On Friday, June 4 (Wk 1, Day 6), four out of five plants are working on their third sets of leaves while that one Sour Diesel is still working on its second set. Still too hot and too dry in the tent despite the basement feeling like a swamp.
Best of luck, I'm going to follow along...i like to see how other auto organic runs do. I dig the re-veg in the back too! Looking great so far, all the best.
