Bembeto Today I started bringing the soil to life by planting white clover, also to help fix nitrogen in the soil. There was a much faster growth compared to the previous week, which could have been affected by the transplant to the final pot. Anyway, I see it doing very well for the rest of the week.

Bembeto I'm still doing a lot of pruning, I remove each new shoot before it takes over the stem and thus avoid stress. It's going well, although I think it might end up a bit uneven due to the size and shape of the leaves.

Bembeto I was a bit absent last week and couldn't upload content, anyway it was a week of recovery and pruning, it didn't grow much and if it did, it was already adjusting. This week is starting off better and now explosive growth is coming before flowering, I estimate it will be in about 2 weeks.

Hi there, I assume that your plant is suffer from Nitrogen toxicity and nutrient lock out. Those dark green leaves indicate that you have alot of Nitrogen in your medium and that cause other nutrient to lock out.Advice to fix that before flowering commence or it will be getting worse. There should always be some water run off from the bottom to prevent salt build up into toxicity level.Check both pH in/out and ppm in/out and make sure they are in proper range.Good luck and happy growing... ✌️

Bembeto Week of a lot of vegetative growth, I followed the advice of a wise grower @burmese who recommended watering only with water due to a previous excess of nitrogen. The rest is good, even though I broke a couple of branches during the move (it's not easy to lift a 80-liter pot loaded). The plant didn't seem to mind, and the tips were up within a few hours.

Bembeto Well, this week was a bit faster than the last one, anyway I'm having a Mg deficiency, I'm going to check the pH of the substrate to confirm that it's not a nutrient lockout, the fertilizer has been lower than recommended and the substrate should be well prepared to support the veg at this stage, I mixed it with 40% soil, 20% perlite, 20% hummus, 20% coco fiber. Just a few days left before flowering.

Flag-shaped leaves with yellow spots, no doubt a deficiency of Mg. The problem is that I don't know what causes it. I will do a soil acidity test to be sure, but I'm leaving the thread open for more experienced growers in case they could lend me a hand with this.

Bembeto **new led sunflash 153*** The tips are starting to cluster, and they're also looking a bit purple due to the genetics. This week, some changes were made: *New sunflash 153 lighting, optimal for my space, no heat and with a spectrum color of 95% sunlight. *The main branches were untied to improve circulation without choking the plant. *Lower pruning, I removed all the branches that wouldn't have good light reception or that weren't going to be very productive. *Since it's not tied down, I can tell when it needs water (weight control) and also rotate it 90° each day. *Preventive application (spring is coming with humidity and high temperatures) What I do find a bit annoying is that the substrate is compact and solid. Could it be due to lack of watering? I'll leave it open to interpretation. Sending hugs and show some love to the post ✌️

Compact soil, I don't know what it could be due to or what could cause it. Can it affect my grow? How should I "aerate" the substrate? The plant is healthy, but I'm worried it might affect it in the future. I hope you can help. A hug to the community and long live cannabis!! ✌️

First off- what a beautiful duck you’ve got! I honestly wouldn’t worry too much. You’ve worked in enough coco and perlite to give the roots enough aeration. My current Zkittlez is the same way. You are on top of the root mass- as long as it still absorbing water it should effect anything 🌱

Bembeto New week and the new LED is working great. Just by looking at the Y's of the buds, you can tell it's happy and is going to produce well 💐. It took a while to show pistils, but it's also growing at an incredible pace 💮. Plus, the purple color is starting to show with small traces of resin on the leaves 🛸. In summary, a very good week for this 🦆. We'll see what comes next ✨.

Bembeto It's going well, it's going well!! Perfect week for her, I've added bigbud from Advanced to her normal diet with excellent results. I've also lowered the temperature and I hope she keeps producing pistils before the fattening phase, which I'm eagerly looking forward to! In summary, VERY happy with this week of growth 😍 Don't forget to show some love to the duck 🦆✌️💕

Bembeto I see her thriving, I found a way to connect the air conditioner to the tent's air duct so I don't think I'll have temperature issues, it's 34°C today and it shows 24 in the tent, not bad at all. Regarding the plant: the first rusty pistils are already visible, marking a stage change in flowering. With nutrients, I just need to follow the producer's feeding chart to the minimum to avoid overfeeding or a sudden change in the plant's pH. I'm really happy with how things are going and the few problems that have come up throughout the grow. I hope everything continues like this. See you next week, growers!

Bembeto Almost the end of the week, I've been busy, however the duck kept working ✨ it's already 2 weeks until harvest according to the producer but I estimate about 3 weeks to leave it how I would really like. There's no smell and I'm worried that there's no resin, I suppose it's due to the genetics since it's not a potent strain but anyway it's coming along incredibly well with the development of the buds 👀. I'll keep you updated on how this evolves, until then community!.

Bembeto Last week, I was away for a few days, but apparently, my absence went unnoticed. I guess we're close to harvest; as soon as the calyxes swell, I'll start checking the trichomes with the magnifying glass. So far, everything looks good, thick tips and good volume despite the calyxes not having fattened up yet. Regarding the smell and the amount of resin 😓 There's nothing more I can do now, just give the last watering with its dose of potassium and wait for the harvest. Thank you very much for following the post, and see you soon 💖

Bembeto The end is near, it still needs to fatten up but I don't think it will take more than a week for that to happen. Overall, a really nice experience with this strain, just as the producer Dutch Passion said, a plant with no smell and strange leaves to make it hard to identify outdoors, and I totally agree. Very, very easy to grow (I think I've over-fertilized a couple of times) so I assume it doesn't have a very heavy diet to be happy. Very good grow this one, we'll see how it all ends up.

Bembeto Hello community!! First of all, thanks for stopping by. I'll tell you a bit about the Frisian Duck, according to the producer (Dutch Passion) it's a plant recommended for outdoor growing due to its unique qualities, its "duck foot" leaf camouflage makes it very hard to distinguish and it easily blends in with any other plant or even on its own. It's a plant with approximately 15-17% THC and 5-10% CBD, so we could call it a light cannabis strain and it has a flowering time of about 9 weeks. Now let me tell you how it developed throughout its different life cycles: GERMINATION: Very interesting stage, the seed opened shortly after being hydrated (approximately 36 hours), from the start it was a strong sprout and had no issues during its germination stage (in my case I only used water since the soil was already enriched to avoid adding products until the 3rd week). VEGETATION: Very interesting stage, seeing the first leaves form to check the purity of the seed, everything spectacular just as the producer said on the package, fast growth accompanied by 1/2 dose of top veg ®️ and fish meal throughout all its weeks. An easy plant to train and that withstands branch breaks, defoliation, pruning, etc., very well and has a great structure. FLOWERING: A stage that started off very well but was also quite strange, the phenotype was like wheat spikes growing unevenly but looking good, since it had no resin it was very difficult to identify if it was ready for harvest or not, and I had to extend the harvest by about 2 weeks. Even so, many remained airy and practically without resin. That said, it's obvious there were no smells of any kind (which I find a bit disappointing, to be honest), nonetheless, I cut off half of the plant or about 66%, leaving the rest to mature, and if there are no results, I'll reveg it outside to see how it develops there. (I might possibly start a new diary with that) SUMMARY: In summary, that's it, I didn't lower the score because it's what the producer promised. ✔️ Not a high THC strain ✔️ Discreet leaves ✔️ No smells ❌ XXL production (airy buds) I will be updating as soon as I can try it once it's dry and jarred for the next section, so far thank you very much and see you next time. Stay tuned! 🦆✌️

Bembeto
Bembeto commented5y ago
@JuanHaze_Arg, very very abundant, but something happened and I would like to know what, the buds are very airy (despite the volume I thought they would be hard and resinous, but they are not) anyway, it has a very active high and a clear mind, flavor of blackberries, wood, and that strange purple taste that most of these genetics have, I will try the upper parts more. Anyway, if it's not for outdoor and in a place that is illegal, I wouldn't recommend it for experienced smokers.
JuanHaze_Arg
JuanHaze_Arg commented5y ago
@Bembeto, the resin issue was probably due to genetics; there must be something about that genetics because I saw you also mentioned it had a faint smell, and I would attribute the airy buds to genetics too! The plant doesn’t look like it suffered anything except for that initial deficiency, which wasn’t serious! Maybe it will look different outdoors, but I don’t think so! The buds outdoors should be more airy. You have flowers for a year! hahahaha the one I’m growing has had nitrogen deficiency throughout the cycle and my buds also got airy, a lot of distance between nodes, which hasn’t happened to me with others. To avoid admitting my mistakes, let’s blame it on the genetics hahahahah

Bembeto commented5y ago
@JuanHaze_Arg, I've been trying them out and they're suuuper light, but well, it's almost time to see how much I yield. So far, I've filled 4 liters in jars and the tips still haven't dried. I'll check out your grow to see if I can help with anything.
