Have an extra few seeds, going to germinate my Canuk Seeds - Auto Amnesia. Once germinated, I will be putting into a fabric pot and keeping outside. I will be bringing it inside in the evenings and when it is raining. I may supplement with artificial light from grow tent on days it is not very sunny. Will update once seed is germinated.
*Update* - Seed germinated, I left a little longer than I usually do (duty calls unfortunately). Planted the seed in moist soil with a little bit of 4-4-4 all purpose. Added a little dome to keep moisture, and left in a warm dark place.
The seed germinated quite easily and came out of the soil fast. Going to keep it in the 0.25 gal pot cup for awhile and then transplant into a 7 gallon fabric pot for outside. Update as week goes on.
Sorry for the delay on this update. So the picture is the end of week 2. Going to be transplanting her shortly into a 7 gallon fabric pot to go outside. Not much to say quite yet, but will update with transplant pictures and nutrients. Third week update will be soon as I was late here.
So the young lady is growing fast outside. This is week 3 but did early as some overlap was between week 2 and week 3. Transplanted her into her new home in a 7 gallon fabric pot. Using Agro G5 mix soil with 6 tbps of 4-4-4 all purpose Gaia Green and 3 tbps of glacial rock dust from Gaia Green.
End of week 4 for this young lady. No issues and not much to show yet. Low stress training has started and just watering when dry to a pH of 6.2-6.6. I bring it inside when it's raining.
*UPDATE* Seems that she may be going into flower already, pretty short and small, but we will see what happens!
So another week done and the Amnesia is starting to flower already! She's a bit short, but I am training every area I can on her. Will upload more photos as the week progresses. She's inside right now due to lack of decent sun for a bit. Also had a couple collateral leaves from a caterpillar. It got the ole half Yard flick away. Happy growing everyone!
End of week 2 of flower, or week 6. New shoots coming up so low stress training everywhere I can as she's a bit short. Hopefully can get some good buds still.
So end of week 7 is here. Sorry for late reply, been out of town for my brother's wedding. So these are some weird flowers and kind of at different stages. We will see how it goes, she's pretty squat, but branching out a lot. Need to amend top soil now with 2-8-4 bloom as she's probably eaten through the original nutrients. Happy growing everyone!
Honestly, I don't have much to say about this one. It was a freebie and I thought I'd give it a whirl outside for this year. It didn't grow to its full potential, as it began to throw bananas. I didn't want to risk nearby neighbors grows, or my own in any fashion. I chopped her down, hung her to dry for 3 or 4 days and then into a jar. I've used about half the plant already in making some MCT Infused oil. Was a short, squat plant with a lot of leaves, could have been a good grower if it didn't enter flower so fast. e
So unfortunately this lady started throwing naners. I have neighbor's that grow and don't want to take the risk. So it's an early harvest and not really anything to speak of in terms of size or weight. This will be product to cook with and not really a strain I'd do again. Was a freebie so thought I'd try it. Update weight and smell when it's done drying and curing. Won't be great for sure haha. Happy growing!
*Update* She has been dried and half put into a jar, the other half I used right away for making some MCT infused oil.
