Fading fast now, starting to see yellowing leaves on small plant now but not worried. Trying to take to 10 weeks but may only go one more week. Last round harvested at 9 weeks but think I pulled a little early, hairs were orange/brown but not fully retracted. They may not retract fully under LEDs, weโll see. Not seeing any amber in the trichs yet, like them all milky with little bit of amber. Humidity is around 45% which is a little low for VPD and I think what is causing the yellowing the most, but donโt want to risk higher humidity this late
I personally love LA Confidential, ever since the first time I saw her at my dispensary I go to, I knew she sounded special and once I smoked her, it was all confirmed. Besides Haze and sour Diesel, la confidential is now number three for me ahead of og Kush. Great job on the grow, she's a beast. Enjoy my friend
@JiggaMan87, jealous of your dispo! But My state is kind of the land of the mids rn lol, and nothing beats home grown. Ive only grown the LA from DNA but love the genetics and anyone Iโve seen growing their gear has nothing but good things to say, def worth the price.
@Juxtapozthis, yeah we actually get her pretty often here. I always snatch up at least a quarter when it's on the shelf. You're also like the 3rd or 4th person just today I've seen with DNA seeds, and every one of the grows, the plants look amazing. I just saw a DNA mimosa blood orange on the homepage and it was so fuzzy from having so much trichomes on her I thought it was covered in spider webs at first. Think I'm gonna have to give their seeds a try next time around.
@JiggaMan87, same here, LA really stands out to me! Itโs been a while since Iโve seen it in my dispensary, but when it does come around people in the know get excited. I also have a haze cross iโve been looking forward to try, maybe outside in the spring.
@JaramnieJazz, nice, I tend to like more โIndicaโ strains, so anything with afghani is a win for me and LA has a lot of that. LA gives a lot of pain/stress relief without being too heavy, but I am a daily smoker too ๐. But I feel like I can smoke it after work and still get stuff done. It also stays very short, not a lot of stretch, and is not super sensitive which makes it pretty easy to grow indoors. It can also handle a lot of heat, and since I lie in the desert that helps a lot. I also love the flavor, very unique and complex to me. HTH!
@GODSGIFT_2005_JM, thanks, planning to stay for a while so donโt mind not being able to move the container around, and iโd rather pop seeds directly or transplant clones as few times as possible to avoid stress. For living soil bigger is generally better to create an ideal home for all those microbes. It does make watering a little trickier really have to hold back esp in the beginning since it dries slower, but thatโs mostly good for me since I live in low desert and it helps increase rH. Bigger container also means more nutrient store, so kinda acts like a buffer for some newbie mistakes. I also like the idea that they can communicate through the root zone in the same soil ๐
Wow! Good luck with your grow I hope you get the best taste of buds and healthy plants! Take care and stay lit!
