Sunset Chiquita Banana Sherbert

Little bit of fun.. After my WeedseedsExpress Sunset sherberts pollinated my chiquita bananas i was left with a load of seed so i decided to grow a few and see what they come like. First 3 days after coming out they had black/Purple leaves and black stems.. I thought they would stay like that and just get bigger and did not get any pics of this stage and then they lost the colour as they pushed end of first week. Gutted but i am going to pop another 3 and try to get some pics of those as shoots. I expect they will be males or failing that will have some of the stress genetic carried over from the sherberts but i will do 8 to 12 and pull the males as they show themselves.. We have had a really nice spell of hot weather in London (The real london,UK..😅) and the Sunset Chiquitas,which is what i have decided to call them, are doing great. Loving life and doing their thing.. I hope none of these are male as i dont want to have to pull such pretty plants.. Sorry been a bit busy with the indoor grow and always kind of just let outdoors do it thing. Trouble is last summer I did not have 2 cats who seem to want to destroy everything I plant. Only 3 remain of those none showing sex yet. Will try to keep a better eye on them this week. Outdoors is a disaster.. the cats are anti weed it seems they are targeting my ladies. Of the 6 plants I had in the garden only 2 of the sunset Chiquita remain.. The 2 that are left are doing great. I've done nothing for them. They are now being fed my flower room run off . The Lillie's are loving it also🌱🌼😅 I hope they are big enough the cats will leave them alone.. I don't think they were actually attacking my plants more like they were chasing bugs through the flower beds.. damn kitties and their love of play..🐈🐈😸😹. Nothing else really. I had to snap her over last week as she was too tall and obvious in the garden. She did not mind the hat at all and is growing back strong. Second one is a lot smaller. I think her roots are tangled with the rose tree and maybe she's not getting enough food. I refuse to feed them specially so will let things pan out. Bugs are another issue and they have been feasting ony ladies. Again though nature doing her thing. I will remove any obvious problems but not gonna put anything down. That's it this week. Outdoors girls get bigger. Snails are trying to topple one of the girls. I've put down egg shells and Diatomaceous Earth . But they keep getting on her. They seem to gather at the one spot where I HST snapped her stem and are trying to chew through the wound. I've started doing 2 visits at night to clear them away.. fuckers.... Hopefully that's all will happen. They get big with good form and some nice flower sites starting to show.. Thanks for looking. Grow well 🌿🌱🌼🌿. Stay safe 😷😷

My god this girl is getting big for an outdoor stealth grow. I've snapped her once in half and she has doubled up since that. I think another break is gonna have to happen and I will have to pull her long instead of tall. She still gets nothing special. Cats seem to be keeping snails off her.. I know that sounds mad but I swear they sit at night next to her and I've not had any more snails on her since...🤔🤔🤔 Still not giving anything special. The run off from the flower room gets poured on the beds apart from that just rain which is in no short supply. That's all this week from the scarey outdoors. Out door girl is doing great. Showing pre flower and should start seeing some bud in the next 2 weeks. She's alot bigger then I was wanting and is an easy 2m plant if put in early enough . I've snapped her back down twice now and she's still 90cm..and quite wide. I'm a little worried about mosey neighbors and if I feel it is a compromise to my stealth I will just pull her. I won't risk the attention and risk my indoor grows . Otherwis though what acracking girl. Beautyof a girl with lovely wide sun catching leaves and a good resistance to bugs. She is a monster.. The height issues I tackled last week when I grabbed her by her center stem and snapped her in half.. I was sure this would just piss her off but within a day she had recovered and continued to grow. The push is finished now I think and I expect flower sites this week. What a magnificent plant... She is still getting nothing but a bit of run off. This seems to be doing well for the whole flower bed in general as my 17 yr old rose tree has pushed 4 feet of growth and has just given us another brace of flowers❤️🌼 Good stuff greenbuzz. Hello growmigos I don't think she is gonna finish off. The weather has really come in it's cold and wet and I think I'm either going to have a Hermie bush of pollinated hash material or I will have a putrid soggy mess of rot.. Maybe I am being too pessimistic but that's how itt feels. I put her in way too late but such is life. The good news is she smells divine filling my garden with a kinda White widow citronella smell. Frost is not an issue either as she is stacking piles of this too. I have noticed an ant best nearby tried to use my lady to farm some aphids.. but they are not foliar with this species of plant and her resin so now I have hundreds of ant corpses stuck to the frost..🤣🤣 She will need a bath. Just left a bean in the garden.did not feed her except for some runoff from the flower room. This year seems to be horrid for outdoors around the world. Mould spores blowing around.. I think if I do put doors next year I will pick a nice landrace strain maybe some Kumaoni.. I will report back once she gets fully dried and trimmed.
