This plant prefers cooler weather but we’ve had some historic heat waves this summer. During the late June 37 C for three days period it bolted just like spinach or lettuce when it gets too hot. Most plants were stunted by the cold weather in mid-May but this one was ‘dwarfed’ by the heat. Aug 21: harvested.
