Well all kinds of training going on this week - more photos to come as things got a little busy. Essentially I’ve pulled down each side branch in turn, leaving a gap so I can pull the main stem over to roughly match the height of the side branches. This way, she will pour her energy into the (now), bush of stems, instead of concentrating on one, with some energy going to side branches. Only LST and defoliation, once I’m happy she in set in her final positions, then I will only use defoliation, and then it is only to remove a damaged leaf or one causing too much shadow to the lower parts.
