Going into week 5 staying short an bushy living soil ph @ 6.3. hoping to see more growth throughout this week. Taking up 1/2 gallon of water every 2 days. Drop a comment below an let me know what you think. Happy growing everyone!

Since you asked yes do defoliate at least leaves that are laying on top of each other, could save you from any mold issues. I just leave enough fan leaves for the plant to cannibalism itโs self in final flush. However you wonโt be flushing I guess, so just make sure you get light penetration and no mold.
