Transplanted outdoors 4 weeks ago. Was a mother started in February.
I don't feed much. The soil is amended with sheep manure and a bag of super soil yearly and doesn't need much nutrients.
Growing fast and strong. So far no issues from all the rain. They should start flowering any time now. Happy the plants just got to the top before the stretch. Hope the weather cooperates over the next two months.
What a difference from when I put them in the ground. Usually stop about 6 feet this year 9 feet. After many years the soil if perfect.
Organic nutrients and pond water is all I have given the garden.
