5th Grow - Organic Zamnesia Runtz Autos

Noob_quest 5th Grow started!! Plan this time round is to improve on my soil / amendment / top dress technique. The difference this time is I'm trying some genetics from Zamnesia. 3x Runtz autos to run alongside 3 autos from fastbuds. It was a tricky decision due to fastbuds always delivering so far for me (to be fair only tried them & 1 other breeder). But the Zamnesia grows I've seen on here generally seem good and want to see what's out there. Will be interesting seeing what performs best. Only 8 days in. 100% germination. However the Runtz look a few days ahead right now. Other than that just a week left on the last plants from grow 4 which are looking pretty good. Thanks for reading have a great week 😊

Noob_quest Short (and late) update this week as I was away a few days. All pics taken back on D15 done quite well since. Zamnesia genetics definitely ahead of Fastbuds for growth / structure / vigour right now. Thanks for reading have a great week 😊

Noob_quest So week 3 down and so far so good. The 3 Runtz (Zamnesia) are all nailing it right now. For the Fastbuds strains, strawberry pie going well but 1 gorilla cookies has had a v slow start compared to the others. The other gorilla cookies is another of these ducksfoot / 3 pronged leaf phenos I’ve got from Fastbuds. Had quite a few over the last couple of grows. Not a fan, they don’t seem to produce as much yield / potency / flavour as the others I’ve grown out. Real problem is since the summer kicked in I’ve had to swap in the 400w hps for the 600 I had been running in the winter. All due to temps. Result is despite much healthier plants through me improving, overall yields are down. Which means I may have to actually go and buy weed from some wankstain kid street dealer before I harvest this run. Solution, is a quality led. Just can’t get myself to part with the cash right now. Noob_quest So all good so far. The Runtz from Zamnesia really nailing it and started to stretch. St’ Pie looking good too just about to stretch. 2 gorilla cookies not great. 1 is really weird thing and I think I stunted the other by not transplanting soon enough. Will let em all go and see. Nothing but water and a top dressing. Nothing but that planned for the way in. Thanks for reading have a great week 😊

Noob_quest So the (Zamnesia) Runtz stretching for just less than 2 weeks and are now pretty big plants. Quite stretchy but I prefer that as it’s easier to get air moving through em. And they’re starting to get a little frost in them too. First time I’m growing Zamnesia so wasn’t 100% on them but they’re definitely growing very well and looking good so happy so far. As for the Fastbuds, the strawberry pie going ok but nothing like the Zamnesia’s. 1 Gorilla Cookies improving (I had thought I’d stunted it) the other is the weirdest plant I’ve grown. Really small tri-foot / ducksfoot pheno but with loads of branches. We’ll see how they get on. Smoking some strawberry pie from last harvest. Best plant of the grow last time I think. Noob_quest Quick update this week. Runtz 2 turned into a monster this week. Over 1.2m tall and tonnes of budsites. Heatwave causing issues… not much heat stress on the plants I don’t think but it’s increases the number of fungus gnats. Which enrages me. I despise those things. Now stretch has stopped not much to do other than a top dress or 2 and watering when dry. Thanks for reading, have a great week. 😊

Noob_quest So survived the heatwave… think it’s over let’s hope so. All plants developing well despite the heat although they have started to foxtail. So all the Runtz growing out very nicely. Runtz 1 has some fat colas already. The Fastbuds not faring as well. Stunted at least one of them and the other 2 doing not too bad very frosty but way smaller/ less developed than the Runtz. Moving house in exactly 1 month so that’s when harvest will happen, should be about right. Running out of weed from the last harvest, sucks having to wait for this harvest. Still, I will have a 2 tent setup in my new house so should have much fewer lean times. So in all in all feeling lucky and grateful. Thanks for reading have a great week 😊

Noob_quest Week 8 done, going pretty well I’m happy. 1 of the Runtz has got huge colas already and quite frosty. The other 2 Runtz - much smaller buds 1 quite frosty / smelly the other hardly at all. Both the Fastbuds although much smaller than the Zamnesias are way way frostier. And so undecided what I’ll run next time. Will see how these zamnesia genetics smoke before I decide. Issues have been these fecking fungus gnats that I can’t quite get rid off. Seriously winding me up prick little things. And maybe mistiming my final top dress for some of the girls as 1 or 2 are looking a little hungry with c3weeks to go. Also about to run out weed so will probably have to chop one of these earlier than I’d like. Still next grow starts in 3 weeks when I’ve moved into the house I bought with the money growing has saved me. Will have a 2 tent setup plus a bitching new led… Lean times soon to be thing of the past..! So all good. Thanks for reading have a great week 😊
