9 seeds opened real quick, in about 12h, only 1 is still in progress after 24h but i expect it opens soon
Prepared already the jiffys with bioenhancer (smells like turtle water or turtle food 🤣)
Going good at this point, just placed them in a 1l container, planning to do a 4 plant scrog in 40l containers with those who looks better and stroger as
I germinated all of them and put the rest somewhere else to just have a diary of those who looks better, its a competition at the end so...
Decided to use coco with the powder feeding grow to see how it goes as the powder feeding suposes to have enough food for the veg period and most of the soils already come with some nutrients, also transplanted them into 40l containers 😁 currently I put the lamp on 190w and in some weeks I'll change the light to 245w until the flower period where its on 315w
Temperature increased due to a heatwave in my region😤, currently have around 30° - 31° inside the tent, also topped them and add the enhancer the last day of week 2, i must say that using biogrow makes life much easier as we only need to add water and adjust the ph 😁
I noticed that they suffered a bit as i cut the top last week together with higher temperatures, we can see that in some of the leaves, but this is the perfect chance to really test the genetic GHSC provided me, so it helps me to see how they respond and if their genetics are strong and supporting different climates, at this point they keep growing and doesnt look like its affecting them much (apart of some of the leaves wrinkling a bit)
Feeling lazy with GHSC's powderfeeding, i always have the idea that something is missing when i finish watering, but what is it... oh yes mixing all kind of stuff before watering and writing down what, when and who🤣 really start to like it all leaves keep their green like nothing is really missing.
Also better temperatures this week, outside its like 10 c° less compared to last week, this caused the tempreture inside the tent to lower to a better range (around 26 c°) still not perfect but better than 30 something last week 😁
What went well?: FIM and LST, still recovering from the FIM but they just keep growing, at this point as mentioned before it looks like a strong, well established strain, with quite some work on the background, i do see a slight difference as 2 of the ladies are bigger than the other 2, might be a small genetic diference but call it also grow conditions as we had some heat issues last week 🤦 also starting to guide them and preparing them for a SCROG.
Things to improve: air vs heat, this summer the temperatures are quite high here in my island we suffered some heat waves, normally with my 190w lec I dont have any issue specially not in grow stage at 190w when i have always around 24 c° and in flowering around 26 (turning the lights into 315w mode) i'm definitely thinking about LED next summer 🤔
Small defoliation to start preparing for the net, i prefer to do a small defoliation each week instead of 1 big defoliation before switching to the flowering stage to avoid that bigger stress (they already suffered a bit from the heat 2 weeks ago 😤) also one branch just reached the net so already guiding that one, i expect them all to reach the net soon, i dont want to lower the net more as if not its a bit of a trouble to water the girls🤣 just increased today to 245w!
Last topping done and some lst, they are getting bigger and once the stams are a bit larger i'm able to guide them thru the net just before switching to flowering stage, a quite good week for the girls, i still dont notice any need of nutrients so all good so far with biogrow, i never used these kind of nutrients i always used the typical liquid fertilizers so didnt really know what to expect, but really happy at the moment😁
Totally recovered from the topping last week, they are expanding a lot so im guiding them thru the net, i do notice a small deficiency of some nutrients, but of course as GHSC indicates in the package the food is for 8 weeks, so totally agree with their calculation, if everything goes alright im planning to turn them to flower in 2 weeks more or less, i still need during this week to remove all the lower branches and leaves which adds some stress and require again some recovering before switching to flower 🤗😁
Looking good at this point, all ready for flowering, i have my net like around 80% full with only some small spaces left, and removed most of the lower branches and leaves, so switching to flowering the next couple of days, i did saw some small deficiency of mag. But as mentioned last week, the biogrow is really intended to last 8 weeks so at this week i really start to notice the needs of food, but not an issue at all as im preparing to switch to flowering and give them some biobloom 🤗
All good so far, just sprayed them with anti-insect just in case (thats why the leaves looks shiny or oily) also noticed that the one i have in the right corner streched more the first week than the other 3 but that one is bigger since the beginning.
Added 120g per plant of biobloom (3g per liter) and increased the light to 315w 😁
Lot of heat, ...again, but it seems to get better this week.
the one at the right corner wants to go out of the roof and just get sunlight 🤣, if i knew before i would have topped that one more than the others but well i will get like 4 bigger main colas from that one and smaller buds from the rest, i raised the lamp a bit due to that plant (i think thats more a chemdog pheno) i also have a smaller but bushy one in the front right so i guess thats more a weddingcake pheno (not sure, maybe its the other way around 🤔), the other 2 in the left are somewhere in the middle.
I think i found some balls hanging around there in one of the plants at the left, not really sure but i removed the whole branch and all other low branches just in case, i know they suffered a lot (heat, lst, hst, defoliation, and so on...)
Last week i thought I found some balls, it seems that one of the girls got a bit stressed, maybe by heat or because some small defoliation, this only happened on 1 of the plants, i just removed the sacs and keep checking daily but nothing more found, for the rest i think they are going good for week 3, getting bigger day by day, hopefully no more surprises next week 🤣
Just a regular week, going quite good, i dont see the needs of more food, they look quite good with powderfeeding, hopefully its enough until at least week 6 to start the flush. Also looking closely to see if i notice some more balls, no more found so far so hopefully it was just a crazy branch due to the HST 🤔
Starting to see some deficiencies, but thats ok because its week 5 already so i guess that during the next week the remaining nutrients are totally consumed which gives enough time for the flush, no more balls found so seems to be all good now, the only bad part is the different phenos i have which dont really suite for a scrog as i would like to had the lamp a bit lower, we can clearly see that the buds closer to the lamp are already fatter than the rest
A quite regular week, i do think that the girls might need something more than only biobloom as they could have been a bit bigger and fatter but in general quite OK as we still have around 2 weeks left, i maybe miss some sugars etc... It would be nice to have an additional pack of food for the week 3-6 with some more PK and sugars🤔but just my personal opinion
Last week (or 2) for the girls 😁 they smell good, like fruity, really nice, cant wait untill they are ready.
Checking the tricomes but all still quite transparent so as mentioned still some days before finished, also started to water with more amount just to ensure all the remaining food is gone👌but just in case, i dont think its really necessary
Last week my friends, some of the branches fell because of their weight but not really a big deal as its the last week and im about to cut them.
for a scrog i would choose a different strain or work with a mother plant which always ensures the same parameters by this we avoid the difference in phenos etc. And this specific strain requires a second net above the first one which i dont had, this helps us to guide them better and ensure they dont fall around, for the rest i think quite nice strain, smells good and they got quite fat considering that we could only use 1 nutrient (bio bloom) during the whole flower cycle
hay alguna diferencia de fenotipos algunos con toques mas dulce que otros, uno en particular me gustó mas porque es mas dulce mas frutal, da un sabor muy fresca y un colocón bastante duradero. En general una variedad bastante buena
