So I built an aeroponic set up and LED light using 10 Samsung Horticulture L2 strips. Each strips uses a 75w driver and fully dimmable. Max output 779W AC/814W DC
Only photos for now. I will add more information on a later date. I have been busy with an outside garden this past week or so... growing 5 different watermelon varieties, flowers, an aeroponic/hydroponic Mongolian Sunflower... and ducks... my wife wanted ducks... All work and no play make Jack a dule boy.

This week I think I started to do some training. I decided to do the ScrOG, I feel I should have started this earlier, but put off ordering the net. I started tucking, then a day or 2 later I did a defoliation.... I need to look back at my photos to remember... I forget when I topped. it... meh.
More to come!... don't even ask how I keep this tent in the 70s in the garage when it is already getting to 96 degrees outside..... short answer... "oh, this works, well it did work, maybe if I do this, that seems to help, well shit, that didn't work, uh oh, its getting hot, I got it!... and done. - temps start to climb into the 90s - " oh shit, oh shit!, Its not working anymore, I guess 90 degrees inside the tent is better than being in the 100s.... think, think, think, 😲 I got it!... annnd done👌! Its working. The temp at the time of writing this is... 73 degrees (last night it is was in the upper 80s lower 90s).
So yeah, my wife is upset at the time I've been spending on it..... if only she would have let me do this inside the house like I wanted to. Meh, whatareya gonna do? 😕

Quick easy question for you guys..
How often to you find yourself needing to calibrate your blulab PH monitor/doser... if you have one. I'm finding that about a week after calibration, my unit starts to gradually read the PH lower than the actual PH. Is this typical?
I'll usually check my guardian's probe in pH 7 calibration buffer every 2-3 weeks and recalibrate as necessary.
Those pH probes do not last forever, they aren't designed to, and you can expect more drift the more use it gets. Blue Labs is fairly generous with their 6 month limited warranty.
How long should they last? Depends on how you use it but at most a few years? Stretch out their life by cleaning before testing and/or recalibration and storing the tip in a 3-4 M KCl solution as much as possible.
Not very practical with a doser I know, and I tend to leave mine in nutrient solution as well, but I have noticed less drift after storing it in KCl for a couple days, then at least 12-24 hours every week or so (easier for me since it's not on a doser).
Replace the KCl storage solution occasionally as it will concentrate via evaporation if left out, and get contaminated by whatever is on the probe.

This means that the probe is almost 're-vitalised' while it is stored in the KCl solution."
The connector and signaling on that probe is pretty standard and you can find cheaper 3rd party probes that will work with the Bluelab just fine. However, they will probably start drifting just as fast, if not faster than a bluelab probe if you don't use a KCL solution.

I calibrate every 30days when the lights on the bluelab start blink and it's always just +-0.1 drift...so still very accurate after 30days

This is the beginning of a new week! At this point I don't know if I should do anymore lolipoping or defoliation. Anyone have any thoughts?.. It has been crickets on here the past few days. I know I don't want to do much if any trimming after this second week of flower.. but we'll see?

Just added some new photos the help explain the set up.
Also saw the first hairs today.
7/5 - Just defoliated, going to have to give a few days for recovery. I'll play it by ear.
7/6 - snipped a couple leaves, stressed a few limbs, moved a couple lights.
7/7 - didn't do nothin.
7/8 - nothing
7/9 - got Covid
7/10 - in bed all day, took a single pic. Tomorrow is a res change.
