Fast to germinate and come to the surface but now seems to slow down, small shaped cotyledon, one bigger than other, from experience those are weak, but I hope I am wrong.
All is well, she is growing slowly but surely, waiting for some space to free up... Too many cuttings were successful and I could not throw some... So it is cramped...
El Patron is growing at a good pace under those Leds at minimum output, and also she likes the fish blood a bone to old soil from my last grow, so good so far!
I added bendy clip early this time so her side shoots strengthen and later have more chunkier buds. I like the smell her stem is releasing when brushed against, very spicy and skunky!
Topped and transplanted with recycled soil with added fish blood and bones.
Healthy and vigorous main stem so topped her.
I am hoping side shoots grows into good sized buds, from past grow this strain develops a main and thin sides, I want bigger even buds.... Let's see hoping I did not stunt her...
All is well this week, she is bulking up those side shoots and she likes those samsung leds, voost made a good ratio of infra red for heating the leafs and yellows and blues and also uvs, a bit too much infra red because some fan leafs stem are turning deep red and i doubt it is good, i have to found the goid ratio between heights of leds and my environment and the genotypes!
All is well this 2nd week of flowering. Stems are turning red, think it is too much red in leds but it seems not to hinder her growth so far, so we shall see...
Maybe protect those stems with a white plastic to repel IR?
I am having some problems with spider mites, but it seems to be under control so far😅
Very healthy but i am having some ossues with high humidity and dehumidifier i bought was npt suficient... I need a bigger capacity one... And pronto necause already lost one bid to mildew 🙄😬😜.
This El patron is very different last one i grew. She smells lemony and skunky, very sticky and not resistant to high humidity. Beautiful plant thought! 💖
This last week was a really bad one for my El patron, i think too much humidity in soil and air did this root and Crown rot or something in this order because only the top, really the crown started to wilt and directly from the stem to outside, stem all brown and squashy and buds too started to die! Luckily i spotted it early, in fact just after i took last week pic! So i removed all infected buds and
took better control of humidity in my grow room...
Today they seems to have recovered and some stygmas are pushing out and so i will let her finish. For now... Fingers crossed!
I must beware, especially those fast budders they seem the most affected...
I remembered that i made the drastic error to water my plants just before lights out a few time and at the worst possible time... In full bloom mode! but i thought the soil was too dry... In reality it was not, it is again my eagerness to please her and push her.... Lol
Next time i will wait until morning!
Anyway... 😁😅
On another note, this el patron is very vigorous and resistant thankfully!!!
This El patron does not look like her sister, very polar opposite! she smells strongly of lemon, her stygmas are chunky. She is structured like an indica, the only similarity i can see is in the high numbers of trichomes produced and their stickiness!
💖😉
This week she did not do much, sadly stunted due to too high humidity and no air.... But she is still pushing those lower mini buds, even from main stem, so cute and kind of a surprise, i thought i pinched them out when i switched to flowering!
I think i will harvest in a few days. 😀🤞
El patron is almost done, top parts was matured before lower one, so partial harvest it was, and let the rest to mature for a week or so more.
Beautiful and strong smell of lemon with spices and pine. Very resinous! leafs on buds are big and coated with sticky trichomes, removed them from buds so they dry better and smoke a lot better too, most of the time they are discarded each time i roll a joint, so now i am going to waste no more those precious leafs, i am going to make some Rick Simpson oil. Just have to buy some alcohol 90% 😁👌or some canna butter....
Did partial harvest, the rest to come soon. I guess i will jave 60g of well manicured buds, and lost 40g to botyris...
Will update the final harvest and conclusion as soon it is cured and counted, 💚💕❤️😉
Total harvest today, removed all sugar leaves and will keep for Rick simpson oil. Really good medecine for pain and stress 👍😉
