Pulled them from dirt and put them into the hydro. Fingers crossed the dark side of the force doesn't over take out heros. Time in next week for the container adventure.

So I decided to top both of them and I didn't know how to top a clone so I took my best guess based off of growing from a seed I pick which node sites I thought would be the strongest for new branches and clipped above. Skywalker is looking a little weak which is to be expected considering we took it out of a dirt bucket and put it into hydro and also change the light from outdoors to blurple. Overall while not brimming with health you can see tons of new growth that wasn't there a few days ago so I think he's going to be okay. Han Solo on the other hand is much more resilient and seem to have taken to the tent life very quickly. While still shorter and looking slightly over watered I suspect that will only last a few more days until it's fully adjusted. As far as growing in hydroverse dirt I think I have the perfect setup for making water changes simple the white pipes you see are so I can easily fill the retainer and access the tank below without having to pull the plant out every time. Overall I enjoy it but I can see how daily checking that is mandatory could be cumbersome once the excitement wears out but for now this is still a ton of fun.

Attack of the aphid! Han solo was covered with the little sap suckers. Local hydro store wanted $50 for a tincture to hit rid of them. I went to Meijer and picked up a bottle natural aphid killer at Meijer for $8. One day and they already seem to be gone! The new nutrients took a few days to sink in but the water dropped drastically and needed a second change because they drank it all. Need to figure out the best way to train the plant if it grows this fast. I don't know what to do since I've mainlined a seed but not sure if that's appropriate here.

If I want to train my plant for maximum yield and I've never done it from a clone are there any good guides or suggestions on what I should do? Are my plants to old at this stage?

It is never to late to train plants in veg. For maximum exposure and hopefully yield, think horizontal. Try to get everything growing on a flat plane, whether you use a scrog net or just tie every growth down is up to you. Hope this helps, Organoman.

Hi there,With the look of your plant and your grow setup, use trellis net and make ScrOG can only be suitable for training. If you want to maximize the yield, keep her under vegetative stage for at least 8weeks and fill the net.Make sure your plant is healthy and properly feed.Happy growing... ✌️

I’m kinda figuring out the same thing as I’ve switched to working from clones pretty much exclusively over the past 6 months.. it all depends on what type of training you wanna do. What I’ve noticed tho is that sometimes clones take a few weeks to readjust and get some of that vigor back to their growth.. right now it looks a little thin and scrawny but its growth should take off in a week or two and then I’d train however you normally would. I usually top and force lateral growth in a situation like what you got going. I highly recommend growweedeasy for some of the guides they have. If you google “nebulas manifold” you should see a guide at the top there. It’s very in depth and informative. Good luck 👍

The aphids we're defeated. The spray I picked up did the trick and with two applications I don't see any signs of them. I'll keep an eye out for any signs of their return. Now that is over let's talk about how fast these things are growing! Holy crap hydro is like growing in fast forward. The speed of new growth is incredible. I'm going to scrog the tent hopefully this week when my net arrives. I have to say the nutrients so far seem amazing. I wasn't sure about powder but this brand had me a believer so far. I added slf 100 this time because I see some moss on the stones and figured it couldn't hurt to add a little flush to keep everything clean. My tube is starting to get an algae making it hard to read. Oh and Skywalker seems to only have 3 leaves. Somewhat strange but it is what it is!

This week I added the screen I kind of wish those were a little smaller but we'll see. It's already growing explosively fast and so I've been able to bend it pretty good so far I kind of wish I got to it earlier. One branch I attempted to bend a little too far in the wrong direction and snapped it and it was one of the main five so oops. That was on Han Solo my bad. Other than that they have been growing incredibly fast they seem super healthy there's no sign of the aphids returning currently.

The plants are growing like a weed I definitely think I could have made the sea of green a lot better had I realized how fast these plants were going to grow I didn't have the exact plan that I normally have so it's a little bit sloppy I'm sure I'm going to be paying for it once I try to spread them out for flowering. I'm watering them about twice a week they're drinking so much water it's really obvious as they're growing and doubling in size. I've noticed filling up the water reservoir takes longer meaning the roots are starting to ball up so I'm guessing I've got a healthy root system going I'll try and peek on it when I switch it to flower. I might be switching to flower later this week they do look like they're getting ready and big so that might be coming I'm going to just let it get a little bit bigger and fill in some of the other spaces I think the one on the right could use some more time and the one on the left won't hurt it.

She was massively overgrown so I had to chop her down. I took about 40% of her mass off of her to let more light through to also let it focus on better buds versus on many buds. I still think I'm going to get an awesome harvest and now with less bud sites I think the plant is going to focus on the new ones it just started putting out. If I'm wrong I still will have tons of weed but I suspect this is the way.

Sorry I missed a week My buddy had a bachelor party. The 10 is doing amazing I am constantly trying to rearrange them to spread out and get more light on the buds. You can tell they're getting the very first stages of their bud. They smell amazing if you could just smell it you would be in heaven. It is a lovely sweet smell like an infused honey.
