The plant broke the soil on Monday, 6/28, two days after being placed under it in the pot. I'm keeping the grow light at eighty percent of max (10% during germination to start of day two; 40% day two; 60% day three; 80% day four) until there is more leaf development. An eight-inch box fan is on the floor of tent, while a six-inch clip-on fan is hanging from tent ceiling cross pole. Both have been running on low settings since day four. The floor fan is angled as far upward as I can position it; it points toward the front corner of the tent from its position at a back corner. The, ceiling fan points straight across top section of tent. On day three, I slowly doused the soil with tap water in a circle two inches from the plant until the water dripped from the bottom of the pot. Doing so took most of the water from a couple-gallon watering can. It will probably be ready for another dousing by Day 9.
Very nice 🍀
Hope she grow well 🙏🤘
I have a question, how much your electricity bill with that led?
I’m thinking change HPS To LED
Thanks, appreciate any help
@tricombo420, Thanks! Good question about the light. This is a new light for me, so I'll do some number crunching and get back to you on that in the next day or two.
***Edit: The light's draw is 100 watts. I found a U.S. Dept. of Energy electricity cost calculator that gives an eighty-day germination-to-harvest cost (at 18 hours light on per day) of $17.28. If I leave the light on 20 hours per day, the cost will be $19.20. At 24 hours, $23.04. Here's a link to the calculator: https://www.energy.gov/energysaver/maps/appliance-energy-calculator
